So far I can recommend it and definitely get this one with two receivers
I bought this to replace my other one which strictly on batteries and worked only intermittently. Since the receivers are powered by electric outlets, it eliminates the problem of never knowing if the batteries are working. In addition, this one can be powered by USB from an outlet, but you need a micro USB to standard USB cable, and if you are lucky like me and have an outlet close to where you mount the motion detector, you don't have to worry about battery power at all. The only problem with the receivers being A/C powered is they need to be plugged into an outlet that is close by the motion sensor so you can test it. With that being said, the highest volume setting is plenty loud if you are next to it or in the same room but it won't be loud enough to hear between rooms, especially if there is background noise. I recommend placing each unit in the two rooms you use most. You can use the lowest volume setting if you plug in say at your desk, or in the room you watch TV with the highest volume setting, especially if you watch at a high volume. The instructions are not very clear about the controls. There is a switch at the very top of the side of the receiver. If the switch is in the top position you get sound and flashing light and if in the bottom position only light. It has 38 different tones controlled by the middle button but you'll probably be OK with just the standard doorbell which is selection 1. Finally at the bottom is the volume control which is one button that cycles through high, medium and low. I can't tell the difference too much between the high and medium.

Works better than I had anticipated!
This item is as advertised. When I got the box I was a bit disappointed because the items came in one of those cheap Chinese boxes with mediocre graphics and grammar errors. However, the product was very easy to install (just batteries in the motion detector and plug the door bell (receivers) into wall outlets.I have a 50' x 100' building with four thick (12") brick walls on the interior. It's hard to get wifi around these walls. However, I had very little trouble placing the two door bell receivers in locations where they would still pick up the signal from the wireless motion sensor transmitter and be heard by employees even way in the back rooms.I moved the receivers to different outlets and only have a few locations where the transmitter signal does not reach. There are 24 rooms in my building and two corridors so I thought getting a signal would be more of a challenge. One of the important features to me is that the chimes are loud enough to hear over ambient noise, through walls and even the floor if I am in the basement. The receivers have a button to control the loudness. The loud is LOUD, and that is the setting I use (remember, we have to hear the door bell across half the store, that is, 2500 square feet). One other thing I appreciate is that I can set one receiver to one tone (or song) and the other to a different one. This is helpful to me so that if one bell stops working or someone unplugs it I can tell. The box says there are "38 musics," and though some are just slightly better than the old Midi songs, I expect many users will enjoy choosing different songs.Cons:I had one problem with this set about four days into using it, and that is that one of the receivers quit working. Even when I plugged it in closer to the transmitter it still didn't sound off. Well, after a couple days, I tried it again and it worked fine, and has worked perfectly for several weeks now.The system has no delay, so when someone triggers the motion sensor, the bells ring (ding-dong, ding-dong). But if that person is followed by another person, the bells ring again (ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong). If another person follows in, the bells ring again. The motion sensor is pretty sensitive, which can be both good and bad. I am not aware of any way to adjust the sensitivity (say, if one had a store cat that roamed around, it would set off the bells every time it went to look at the front door).NOTE: This may be a pro or con for you: I bought a second set (same brand) which has two motion detectors and one bell (receiver). My intent was to put a motion detector at each of my two back doors so I knew if someone was sneaking in or out the back way. I will interest you to know that the new set does not affect the old set at all. The transmitters do not trigger the bells for the former set, and the transmitter of the original does not trigger the new bell.I recommend this item!

Good value for money
I purchased this unit to replace a similar unit I purchased in 2017 which has become unreliable. I like that this came with an adjustable ball mount to adjust the direction as I use this as a wireless doorbell. Also I have not hooked it up yet but it can be operated on a USC charger and then you won't need to replace 3 AAA batteries about two time a year. I also like that the alarm sound volume can be adjusted. My only negative is the range is not as advertise and that is my reason for 4 stars rather than 5.

Like it but..
Worked great until it got rained on. Now using batteries doesn't work. Rusted inside. I thought it was weatherproof!!

Does the job / Updated
Update: I got this for a store a couple years ago. You can read the original review below. I just bought another set and it appears that these are slightly different now. Little smaller, less weight, but most importantly they don’t transmit as far as the original sets I bought. I can’t say they are bad but regrettably they don’t work for my needs anymore and I had to return them.*** original review below ***I can’t speak to it’s weather proofing since I use them indoors but I’ve bout 3 of these now. One was busted and I had to return it but had no issues and the replacement worked fine. One unit has been installed in a thrift store where we keep it positioned above the front door with one chime about 30 feet away and the other about a half block away separated by four walls. In both cases the chimes have been working well and the triple a batteries in the sensor seem to last for several months without change. I think it was almost a year before I had to do that. The second unit was placed in a church building, which was much smaller. Aside from getting a bum unit that had to be returned the replacement has been working without issue since for several months. I’m considering getting one for my house now, just as a cheap way to have a security system. False alerts have been very minimal and I attribute them to things like leaves and swinging signs that may have tripped the laser.

Inexpensive driveway alarm
I wanted an alarm for my driveway to warn me when someone was driving up to the workshop. The product does not seem weatherproof, so I made my own protection. I took a rectangular Ziploc container just a bit bigger than the motion detector and attached it to a tree. Because the ball and mounting socket is weak and loose, I attached the mounting socket inside the container so that the motion detector would rest on the bottom of the container. I cut a square hole in the container's lid to line up with the motion detector and taped the hole with a thin plastic food wrap. (warning: use plastic that does not block the infrared signal and renders the motion detector useless.) I snapped the lid on the container and tested the alarm.I discovered that the window in the lid narrows the field of detection a little, which is good since I didn't want every little thing to set off the alarm, like animals walking directly underneath the box. I've had this system now for a month and it works very well outside. I use Amazon's rechargeable batteries and they work just fine.

Wish it had two sensors and one receiver

Very sensitive to movement. Great variety
Love all the choices of chimes and the motion detection is very sensitive. Wish I could program it to not detect the dog's movement 🥴
