excellent choice for both amateur and professional photographers alike
The ENEGON 2-Pack LP-E17 Replacement Batteries have truly impressed me with their performance and convenience. As a dedicated Canon EOS R50 user, I was in need of reliable spare batteries to ensure I never miss a shot, and these batteries have delivered on all fronts.Firstly, the direct Type-C charging port is a standout feature. This modern and versatile charging method eliminates the need for a separate charger, which simplifies the charging process and reduces clutter. I found it incredibly convenient to be able to use a standard Type-C cable to recharge the batteries, making it easy to keep everything charged up with minimal gear. The batteries themselves offer excellent performance. They hold a charge well and have proven to be reliable during extended shooting sessions. With two batteries in the pack, I have the flexibility to switch out batteries without worrying about running out of power, which is invaluable for both casual photography and more demanding shoots.Additionally, the build quality of these replacement batteries is top-notch. They fit perfectly into my Canon EOS R50 and function just as well as the original batteries. I’ve had no issues with compatibility or performance, and the batteries maintain a charge for a long time, ensuring that I can focus on capturing the perfect shot rather than worrying about power levels. In summary, the ENEGON 2-Pack LP-E17 Replacement Batteries are a fantastic investment for any Canon EOS R50 owner. The convenience of the Type-C direct charging, coupled with the reliable performance and durability of the batteries, makes them an excellent choice for both amateur and professional photographers alike. Highly recommended!

Very convenient
I purchased these batteries to use in my Canon R8 and R100 cameras. The main motivation for choosing them was the built-in USB-c port which makes them able to charge without having to carry a stand-alone battery charger. Instead I only need to carry a USB-c cable and can conveniently charge them in the car or anywhere that I’m traveling. I’ve been using these batteries for several months and they so far have performance similar to the batteries that were included with the camera. This is not so much determined by a controlled test but rather because of the fact that I have been getting a similar number of photos per charge to what I get with the OEM battery. The only downside that I’ve encountered is that the camera treats these batteries as an AC adapter and thus always shows a full charge in the camera’s battery life indicator. The problem that comes up is that they have a tendency to die unexpectedly. There have been plenty of occasions when I was taking a picture and suddenly the camera just went dead. Thankfully this battery is small and light so I always keep a spare in my pocket but it would be ideal if they were fully decoded like some of the other types of batteries are.The built-in charging port is so convenient that I’m willing to look past the lack of charge indicator. It also doesn’t hurt that these batteries are very budget friendly.Based on my experience using these batteries I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend as long as they are aware that there won’t be a functional charge indicator.

Really nifty, works well
There have been times I forget to power off my camera and when I really wanted to use it, I find my battery is dead. So I happened upon these since it was a set and could charge via USB. They both work like my OEM battery, no issues that I’ve found yet. I thought that I could also charge it using the standard charging pack, but it doesn’t. I was hoping to charge one via the pack and one via the usb, but I have plenty of usb-c cords, so no big deal.

Work well and good price
Bought these as backup batteries for my Canon digital camera and they fit perfectly charge easily and work well with no problems. They hold a charge for a long time and i've had no issues using them, and my camera. Price is better than the OEM version, but they work just as well. Highly recommended purchase.

Great alternative
These are a great alternative to the Canon factory batteries. I am using them in my Canon R8 and they work flawlessly. The usb-c connector is in a good spot and the plug is secure. I do like that they include a usb-a to double usb-c cord. The camera identified the batteries without any problems. So far in use I am seeing the same power usage as the factory ones.Overall these are a great alternative and a good backup.

Finally, a Fit!
This one was a perfect fit. A cheap battery we had previously ordered on Amazon - advertised as fitting our camera - did, in fact, not fit at all. Since it cost only a few dollars, we didn't bother getting a refund. My lesson: Don't buy cheap, too-good-to-be true items on Amazon.

Enegon 2 pack LP-E17 Charger quit working after one use
Purchased this product last summer. I charged the batteries after I received it and used one of the batteries in my camera. After use I put the charger and batteries in my camera bag and didn't use them again. Took them out and tried to charge them up to use this past Christmas. The charger lights didn't light up and the batteries didn't charge. Read some of the reviews and found out other people had the same problem.Trying to figure out now how to get it replaced under warranty. My recommendation is to buy the actual canon battery. Perfect for a paper weight.
