Assembly Challenges
Love the look of the shelf now that it’s up and I made up some interesting new swear words.Since no assembly instructions were included, I printed one of the finished assembly samples and turned it into my own detailed diagram.I assembled it as a corner shelf.Since I was hanging the shelves rather high up, I installed the shelves shiny side down.Below are my tips and pics/diagram:1. Unscrew everything out of the box. It is NOT assembled, just packaged like a wrong metal snake.2. Place each like piece in a pile (my diagram pic shows my label (circled) and quantity included).3. USE PLUMBERS TAPE!! Otherwise, the assembly will be very loose.4. Use a LEVELING TOOL when hanging, both horizontally (shelves) and vertically (pipes).

So FUN when up on the wall!!! But a challenge to put together and hang.
The anchors that came with the kit were not sufficient. The shelf comes assembled out the box and you have to take it apart to put it together. The directions are only photos and the product itself was not labeled making it harder to follow. Overall, my son is very excited about the shelf in his room!!! If you have patience you will be fine! If not....watch out!!! ha ha

Need your own wall anchors
The wall anchors provided will not hold this heavy shelf when mounted in drywall. Not even close. I had to try several before finding the thread in anchors were needed to hold this heavy shelf. Looks nice when up but shelves are very small. Make sure you look at the pictures in the instructions carefully BEFORE starting. Work from one end to the other. Instructions are mostly worthless.

Beautiful shelves!
I love these shelves!My only issue is that the instructions didn't make much sense to me, so I ended up looking at the image, separating the parts into their components and building it from scratch. We also ended using pipe tape to help hold pieces in the right position. I didn't take any stars off because it didn't bother me, and I love, love, love the shelves!

Poor instructions; tedious installation- looks awesome, but took a lot of time and effort
Very poor instructions. I have had to add additional brackets. It was like a puzzle and trying to get the shelves both flush to the wall and level was a major fete. It looks really cool. But I had to take it down, patch and paint and then re-install with extra brackets. It was like a science project.

They're OK.
They looked OK, I was hoping the pipes were just the black metal and not painted black. Also the wood for the shelves is super cheap. I ended up buying some pine, staining & sealing it myself, and then buying the pipes online to reconstruct the shelves on my own. Actually ended up being a little cheaper and looks nicer, so I returned these. Also, the pipes for these shelves are loosely attached so make sure you get help if you're going to hang it up.
