Finally some pain relief
I walk my dog 4 times a day but use a walking stick. I get repetitive strain injuries in my wrist which stops me doing anything, even lifting a cup. My son bought me this strap, I wasn’t convinced but it’s the best thing I’ve tried without having another injection. It’s supposes my wrist very well, I can carry on doing day to day things without pain & my dog carries on getting her walks.

Comfortable, easy to put on, washable. Maybe it works, maybe not.
It does support your wrist and in that sense I'm happy with it. Not sure if this one has some copper in it, but, if it doesn't maybe that could be added. Normally rational people I know have said that copper bracelets do seem to help them with arthritic type pain and weakness (which is my issue). I don't think the copper would do any harm and it might help too. Not long after I bought this I took a three week holiday. During that three weeks I was relieved of daily chores, didn't exercise (I normally do some weights and a bit of cardio) and didn't play guitar and interrupted learning to play piano (it was the pain while learning piano that prompted me to look for something). Before I left I had been using the wrist support and it did seem to help while it was on. On return from my holiday, where I didn't use the wrist support at all, the pain had eased considerably. Since returning I have used it, and continue to use it, but, especially when doing weights, I am also more careful not to strain my wrist and I wear the support. All in all hard to say how much if anything the wrist band has helped, but, it definitely hasn't done any harm and, at least at the moment, my problem is somewhat reduced. One other thing, the design with the thin strap (but not too thin) between first finger and thumb means you can wash your hands or dishes, a mug, whatever, without getting it sopping wet. Other designs I've seen with wider strapping across the palm don't avoid this potential problem.

Our teenage daughter has been diagnosed with a carpal tunnel syndrome like condition, and this was recommended to us by her consultant in orthopaedics as it is longer than the ones we had previously bought. Our daughter found the mesh netting that went under the straps uncomfortable, as there was simply too much of it, and it bunched and creased up underneath. She also found it made her hand and arm feel far too hot. However, once we cut this mesh out she has been far more comfortable with it and wears it without any issues
