Order a size smaller
The material is thick and colour was as seen in the image for khaki, so please about this. They did have some loose threads around the stitching but these pulled away without unstitching anything. Cannot comment on how well they will last, or how well they wash, hopefully will be fine. If they do hold up then wouldn't have a problem ordering again. My pair didn't have the fake zip pocket as shown in some images which I know some have commented on.Now for the sizing which seems to be the big issue. Im pretty much a 32-33 inch waist, 31 leg. (5 11 height). Normally order 32 x32 jeans or 32 regular, straight/slim fit which without any footwear on just touch the floor. I ordered these cargo trousers in size 30 in the dropdown and they fit nicely on my waist without being restrictive, normal use would make them slip down lower on the hip, so a belt or the internal cord which tightens them will sort that out. I feel the waist measurement is fine so sizing down to a 30 was the right choice. They are a little longer in the crotch so wearing them normally and I would say they sit around an inch lower on the groin than jeans do. The leg length is about right but due to the longer length from waist band to groin the length is also a little longer overall so they have around 1" excess from floor level without footwear on. This is not too much of an issue with boots on and if it is wouldn't be too much to have them raised an inch if your handy with a thread and needle or places can even do this for little cost. The exact inside leg measurement from the crotch to the bottom of the trousers is 30.5" so about right for a 31 inside leg, the full length from waist band is 41.5". To put in perspective my 32" x 32" jeans measure about 40-40.5". Lay flat buttoned up slightly over 16" across waist so doubled up for the circumference is 32" (so for a normal 32" jean order a 30 as the 30 measures 32")4 stars as not tested for durability yet.

Great for penny pinching travellers
I got these cargo style trousers for one reason; I travel frequently and am sick of paying for priority boarding just to take a decent amount of luggage. Things like the Rufus Roo - essentially a wearable backpack - exist, but I want to bend rather than smash the rules. I also don't think it's entirely unreasonable to charge for luggage, but I'm okay with slightly bending the rules as I don't travel with a lot of stuff and only needed to save a little space.Wizz and Ryanair can charge as much for priority or a hold bag as the cost of a flight. I used to fly with a small bag and wanted to see if I could again. For context, I take short trips - usually 3 to 5 days - and typically travel with my camera bag (AmazonBasics - Medium shoulder bag for SLR camera and accessories - B00CDS9EKE) and 5 changes of clothes.I wear XL size t-shirts and managed to fit two each into the largest 2 pockets of these trousers. Additionally, I got one pair of socks each in the lower pockets. I concluded that adding more wouldn't be beneficial, as the weight of the trousers would get ridiculous and walking around felt silly as it is. I could fit 2 pairs of underwear in each of the rear pockets, but found sitting on them uncomfortable on a plane seat. It was fine for coach seats. On my dry run - where space wasn't a concern - I took normal jeans, too, as they're small when folded and I don't want to wear cargo style jeans for a whole trip. I used the two upper pockets for the usual passport, wallet and phone purposes. They're quite deep and I never worried about anything falling out of them.Ultimately, this has saved me quite a bit of space. I plan on getting a jacket with lots of pockets to store my remaining t-shirt, plus underwear and socks. Used together, this will eliminate my need for priority boarding and save me somewhere between £15 and £20 return on average. This may not seem like much, but if the return flights are £20 for a trip and you take 5 or 6 a year, it's a good saving. I typically take a trip at least once a month, so for me the saving is likely to approach £300 a year.In terms of the trousers themselves, they're a loose fit and I found the interior cord/tightening strings annoying. It didn't seem to tighten much and often got in the way when doing up the trousers. This is especially an issue when you have the aforementioned items - and their weight - in them and are also dealing with a belt.Overall, these serve their purpose and seem well made for the price. They should last and i'd recommend them to those wanting to avoid extra baggage charges.
