NZXTCA-S340W-B1 Source 340 Midi-Tower Case - Black

Fell in love with the minimalistic design of this case and decided to do a full NZXT build. The build quality of the case is superb. Cable management is super easy thanks to clever design. If you want a really clean looking build - this is one of the best options. Case is relatively small and very light! Looks great. Components are of really good quality. Ample ventilation option, really good air intake and exhaust! With a 280 Kraken cooler as intake and two exhaust fans in the back/top, with fans working at 25 - 50% (idle/load) the idle working temp is 22 degrees celsius and around 32-36 degrees under load, which is just superb!There are some small issues with the case, however. If you are planning on installing a liquid cooling 240/280 radiator on the front of the case, it is only possible to do so it "push" configuration, not "pull" (so fans on the front side of the radiator, not on the back). This is due to USB ports/Power On button on the top of the case being located in such a way internally, that it actually leaves no room to set the radiator up the other way around. Minor issue, but strange considering it was designed with Kraken cooler in mind.Also, there is no dust filter on the top fan grill, which I find to be odd, considering there is one on the bottom and front.I would also highly recommend getting an NZXT Grid+ v2 Digital Fan Controller with this case if you are looking for a clean build. As there is no option to install a manual controller in a CD-ROM bay for obvious reason, an internal one is a way to go and it makes a HUGE difference vs having no controller at all.Overall, I absolutely love this case. Best in its class and price range. 5/5 would buy again!

Wow... just... wowSo, I'd come to the end of customising my new PC, and all that was left was to look for the right case to truly finish off this piece of art.I scoured the internet seriously checking out all of my options for a case. For me, I really didn't want to have to really shell out for something that (to me) is for aesthetic purposes.I checked out some fractal cases, but those were up in the 80-100 price range and me, being a cheap skate after shelling out on all of my parts, I really just didn't want to push for that price.Anyway, after searching I came across the NZXT s340 case and by God was I taken by it. The case itself is sleek, and really is perfectly optimised for cable management and making everything look very neat and tidy.Upon arrival, I found that the case itself came with cable ties, wires for the LEDs and 2 120mm fans which was very kind of them to include!The case is incredibly easy to work with, allowing you to easily maximise cable management through the small slots that NZXT provide you with. Everything has a place in this case, and honestly it looks absolutely mental with some LEDs in it.My only criticism is the power button placement. I feel like the button would benefit from the right side placement instead of it's place now, but really it's no biggie.My recommendation to you, if you're looking into buying this, is being very careful when you put it together. Although I didn't get any scratches on the case of the window panel, I believe this was down to me not taking off any of the protective covers on any glossy parts of the case, and once the case was in the correct position, I then took off the covers, and this seriously minimised the scratch rate!All in all, it's an amazing case and I do truly recommend it!

Absolutely brilliant case! Stylish and extremely functional. Comes with fantastic cable management opportunitys and with plenty of space for great air flow regulation. The two included fans are awesome too but I would recommend moving the one from the rear to the front so that you have both an intake and exhaust fan as they both come pre-installed as exhaust fans.

The S340 is a solid case and is well worth the price asked for it, perfect cable management space, a nice solid design, sort of similar to how fractal do things but literally with some shine. The case itself is tough and has clearance for a dual 140mm radiator at the front, though thats it as there's not enough height clearance at the top and rear for another single radiator. it comes with two 120mm fans and an assortment of accessories for cable management and the like. The window is nicely placed and gives you a good view of your internals, the case itself is also very convenient as it has captive thumb screws for the PSU bracket and side panels, a nice premium touch. The design is amazing and is personally my favourite for this price bracket. A nice magnetic dust filter at the front (note will cause blocking of rubber fan mounts), but a horrible one at the bottom for the PSU, you literally can make it better by taping nylon to it or something, as its just a piece of metal mesh.One main gripe with this case is the gaping hole at the back next to the PCI-E slots, you can tell how they made the case cheaper when you notice this. But the fan placement at the top of the case still brings good ventilation even with this hole. But I noticed that the rear fan that I have installed has trouble exhausting any air out of the case and feels considerably less strong than the top fan. The biggest gripe of mine however and the reason this is a 4/5 rather than a full 5 stars, is the appalling quality of the window's material, it scratches easily and I'm bugged about the fact that I managed to scratch it while resting it on carpet and wood I will have to live forever with a poorly looking side window, so this is a warning to all prospective buyers, leave the bloody plastic on till you actually finish whatever build your doing, as it's highly likely you'll scratch it otherwise.Overall however, for this price point, this definitely deserves 4 stars and I'm happy to be using it really sad about the window though. Might've actually bought a none-window version if their was the option and maybe they could use the money saved to fix that horrible hole in the back.

Instalar todos los componentes en esta caja es una gozada. Todo pensado para quedar perfectamente ordenado y bien expuesto a traves de su ventana lateral (Que por cierto venia super bien protegida).Si vas a tener que usar lector/grabador de dvd, o frontal para tarjetas de memoria, control de temperatura o similar, no la compres, no tiene en el frontal mas que dos ventiladores de 140mm.Pero si no vas a instalar lectores ni similares, es simplemente genial, bonita, elegante, y muy eficiente. De casa trae el ventilador superior y el trasero. Lo complemente con dos 140mm delanteros y la verdad que me mantiene una temperatura bajisima, el flujo de aire es constante y aparte "limpio" (trae una rejilla en el frontal fijada con imanes para evitar la entrada de polvo.Solo trae boton de encendido, no busques el de reset por que no existe. Y tiene tomas de audio, mcrofono y dos usb en la parte superior delantera muy accesibles.La caja en si esta elevada gracias a unas patas que ayudan a que la fuente de alimentacion pueda respirar por debajo. Muy completa en tornilleria e incluye hasta bridas para poder dejar super ordenados los cables.Super recomendada.

Que figura! Discreto y elegante.A mi parecer los gabinetes con cara de transformer y luces RGB por todos lados parecen carrito tuneado de tamales de la ciudad de México.Quieres un gabinete multifuncional para tu PC que estas ensamblando? Lo quieres a un precio razonable que no te deje ahorrando otros 5 meses para otra pieza? Te interesa que parezca un taxi tuneado del DF? Si tus respuestas fueron SI, SI, NO entonces has llegado a la tierra prometida con este gabinete.Su tamaño es idóneo para empezar una PC amigabe tu bolsito. Tiene una muy buena administracion de cables y distribucion de entradas de aire. Considera que NO TIENE 2 VENITLADORES DE 120mm en el frente y solo tiene 2 negativos (Es decir que sacan aire caliente en lugar de meter aire frio). Uno arriba y otro por detras. Por lo que si estas buscando las mejores temperaturas en tu procesador, probablemente necesites invertir unos dolares adicionales para conseguir los 2 ventiladores positivos (que meten aire frio en el frente).La cubiera es metálica, el interior tambien asi lo es con un acabado mate. El panel frontal es de plastico y aunque lo puedes quitar para darle mantenimiento a los ventiladores, se sujeta bien firme.Obviamente, su ventana es de acrilico y no de crital templado (Aunque vaya, por este precio ya es más que excelente).Considera que el espacio adentro te dejará instalar apenitas un ventilador como el Dark Rock 3 para tu procesador. Asi que probablemente estes un poco corto de espacio si necesitas un venitlador con rejillas mas grandes.
