NuWave – Oven Pro Plus | Conduction, Convection & Infrared Cooker, Healthier Meals and Flexible Cooking; Air Fry, Bake, Broil, BBQ, Grill, Steam, Roast and Dehydrate

I first came across the NuWave Oven Pro on QVC. After seeing the demo I bought the portable oven. I have been looking for a replacement for quite some time but I cannot find it anywhere in the UK. Finally Amazon have bought this back to the UK market.We use the oven on a daily basis. After several months of usage the Perspex dome, has not developed any cracks, unlike the previous clear version of the dome which was transparent. The previous dome started to crack around the top of the dome, where the 'head' unit sits on the dome and oer the coming weeks the crack propagated towards the bottom of the dome. The dome did not shatter or crack any further. We continued to use the dome until it finally split further and was no longer viable to use.Without a doubt this has been one of the best purchases I have ever made, period.

Our Philips air frier is great but size is limited to what will fit in the basket, a halogen oven is too small for a regular 12 inch pizza so I looked at the Nuwave Oven. The first think I'd try on the Nu wave was a frozen Pizza. Unwrapped and put it on the high rack and set it off. Half way though it looked like it was done BUT it had a soggy bottom to the point it welded itself to the rack - I was not happy nor impressed. Looking on line it said something about using a flipping technique - cooking the bottom for half the time then turning it over to cook the top - NOT a desirable solution. I found putting the low rack in, preheating for 5 mins on high, popping the pizza in and cooking for the prescribed time. No sticking and a crisp bottom. No flipping needed.

good product and easy to use. the most annoying feature is the very inflexible mains cable used it gets stuck under the top unitand under bottom unit, whoever chose this cable never used the product

This is my third oven. I have been using these ovens for many years, I have been waiting for the return of these ovens to the uk market for ages. I even had it in my wish list for ages and have been using a flavor wave oven which has been put back in the loft as a reserve. The meat cooked in this oven regardless of what type comes out delicious and moist, I really like the lift off cover because you have a large diameter at the base of the oven unlike the hinged lid versions of the halogen oven.The beauty of not leaving food out to defrost and cooking from frozen in a short space of time is lovely.My husband calls me a gadget freak but this oven is amazing and even he agrees with the end product i serve him. If i could give more stars i would. A*

Very large but used it every day for quick snacks which would normally have used the oven.

I love this cooker. Infra red much more effective than halogen. This is the fourth NuWave oven I’ve had, over the years. They aren’t always available here, so this was a lucky find. Unlike with halogen, the food doesn’t dry out. Also, everything can be cooked from frozen, if you wish, which is extremely convenient. When you own one of these, you seldom use your normal oven ever again. Easy to clean. I like to hand wash mine to keep it looking new, but the main parts can go into a dishwasher. Convenient. Gives excellent results. Indispensable.

If you are like me and fed up with halogen cookers only lasting 6 months at most before going bang, then this may interest you. Well, that's what I thought. It lasted two uses before tripping all the electric...twice , each time plunging the house into darkness.They don't cook in the same way as an halogen. They just get hot. The maximum temperature you can get out of it is 177c. Not hot enough to crisp up roasties or pork crackling. Suppose it's all right if you like rubbery pork.It is very disappointing that an item that cost £110 could be so useless.

I am very happy with this product, it does everything claimed. Ideal for one or two people and is saving us money because there is no need to preheat. I bought this to tide us over until I my cooking range is wired in, but will certainly continue to use the NuWave once this has done either as an alternative or an addition to the big oven. Overall a very clean way of cooking and very easy to wash-up.
