The Ten Pine Natural Exfoliating Gel definitely does the job in repairing dry, cracked, and callous heels and is a good, all-natural alternative to other similar products. Although unscented, it has a very strong vinegar like odor.The foot gel comes in an easy to use squeeze bottle. The gel is clear with a slightly brownish tint. You only need to use a small amount. I hadn't used foot moisturizer for too long, and both heals were thickened and starting to crack. I bought my usual 42% Urea gel with aloe to test against this gel. I used the urea gel on my left heel and foot and the Ten Pines on my right. If anything, my right heel was a bit worse than my left heel.After two weeks the results were quite similar. They both went on easily and only required a small amount of gel. Both spread well and gave good coverage. Both gels did an excellent job and both had good, soothing results almost immediately. Over the two weeks the small cracks and fissures went away and my heels were still a bit rough but definitely repaired. Full results take time--the Ten Pine box suggests full heel repair after 2 months, but--again--my heel felt better almost immediately and all major cracking and most of the thickening was gone after 2 weeks. Great resultsThe major down side to the Ten Pine--and the reason I will be completing treatment with the urea/aloe gel is the odor. On the up side, Ten Pines gel does not add fragrance to this product; however, the gel has a very strong vinegar-like odor. There is no vinegar inn the formula, but there are a number of acid components--including gallic acid, glucuronic acid, ferulic acid, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, p-coumaric acid, citric acid, ethanoic acid, and malic acid that may be the cause of the acrid odor. If you don't mind the scent of vinegar, this stuff is for you. My urea-aloe gel has a faint smell of ginger ale. And I prefer the smell of ginger ale.This is a pity, as the gel really works and is all natural. The company does things right by using all natural, vegan products, not testing on animals. They avoid parabens, petroleum products, artificial colors, and preservatives. The product is non-greasy, spreads eastly, and did not stain my clothing. All great stuff.This is an otherwise excellent product that does what it is supposed to do and does it well... unfortunately, it has that very strong odor. It gets 5 stars for the heel repair but only 3 stars for the vinegar-like odor, which balances out to 4 stars. I can recommend this as a truly effective treatment for dry, cracked, calloused heels, but, unfortunately, I don't see myself using it in the future.

This gel is unlike other products i have used, it is not oily, and it smoothens the dry skin immediately.

Have used it for over a week and I can feel the skin on my feet became softer. Good to have it especially in such a dry day. The smell is mild, and it’s not oily after applied.

I haven't ever tried a product like this before but am so glad I gave Ten Pines Vegan Foot Repair Cream a shot. It has made a huge difference in my badly cracked heel in just a few weeks. I have been using all sorts of creams trying to keep my heel from splitting but nothing was really helpful until I tried this. I use a pumice stone before application as suggested. The product initially felt a bit tingly when applied but I'm not getting that sensation any longer. I use it at least twice a day, 3 times whenever possible. Both of my feet are much softer and the deep heel crease I've had for ages is almost completely gone. I will be using this for preventative maintenance to ensure sandal-ready feet year-round.

While this product does seem to work, I honestly don't think it softens my feet any worse or any better than just moisturizing each day before I put on socks. Also, this product has a very strong cider vinegar scent that I personally don't like. It goes away within a few minutes, but not really something I want my feet to smell at all like.
