An excellent bit of kit - worked beautifully on a Saab 9-5, which has 8-sides to the track rod - not a problem for this, made it almost suspiciously easy!The tube was even large enough to fit over one of the track rods which had the locknut still seized on it, plus being 1/2" drive it was possible to easily torque the new track rod up from outside the wheel arch.What appears to be an identical kit from the likes of Draper or Laser tools is over double the price - and probably made in the same factory anyway!

Very easy to use and grips the inner track rod nut without slippage or damage. Makes the job very simple to do.

Probably only use a couple of times. So will hold its value. Good buy.

Makes doing this job extremely easy. Decent quality product will last a long time. Maybe not something you’ll use every day but has the potential to save a lot of messing about with wrenches and lying on your back under a car.

Tool does not work it slips and will not grip, have tried 2 out of the 3 sizes so far. Tried to contact the supplier and they have not responded.

When recently replacing the inner tie rod ends on the a Porsche Boxster i was left scratching my head at how i was meant to get a spanner in such a confined space. A phone call later to a good friend and a link sent to me led me to this tool. Firstly i inspected the pictures and watched some youtube videos to see if and how this would work and then i went ahead and purchased with good faith. The tool is made up of a long shaft which easily fits over any tie rod and a circular end piece which slots onto the nut at the end of the tie rod. The circular end is the magic! I have no idea how it works but it does! It grips onto the tie rod nut with ease and didn't sleep once, even when i had to use and extra long breaker bar!!I am glad i got this tool as i have now also had to replace the inner tie rods on two more vehicles and having this makes it a breeze!.To use this tool you will need to remove the outer tie rod end first and then undo it from the tie rod, then sleep the tool over the exposed shaft and down to the inner tie rod end, you will probably need to remove the inner tie rod end boot first as well, so be prepared with a replacement rubber boot!.
