To add to the other 5 star reviews these do really look great. Very robust plastic construction. So far (August) have stayed lit all night. Get the impression they will last very well but time will tell. Winter performance will be interesting to monitor too. Will update review in due course. These have survived two torrential downpours without problems so far. If these last well as I think they might, will certainly be buying more. So far all 4 units performing very well.Update: Just after the 30 day return period one of these failed. Tried leaving it on charge only for 48 hours but no luck. As the order is fulfilled by Amazon I dont think it possible to contact the seller although would be pleased to hear from them if they read this ! The other three are working fine still and whilst this early failure is disappointing still worth 4 stars.

I purchased two solar lights. At first I was impressed with the look of the bright flickering flame and ability to charge them on a sunny day. However, I soon changed my mind when one the lights failed to work after being exposed to bright sunlight for eight hours. When they work they are very attractive but one of the lights only worked for two weeks. Disappointed.

I am so pleased with this light. Once charged it came on as soon as it was dark outside. It really looks like a real flame flickering away in the night. My husband was convinced that it was burning and had to outside to take a closer look.It comes with a normal ground stake plus an extra piece if you want it taller.It is very sturdy and tough, I had to push it quite hard into the ground and it was fine.The realistic flame is encased in a black surround with cut outs to let the light through.I really like this light , it is my favourite garden light , I love the look it gives and will be buying more.I just hope my short video uploads clearly so that you can see it in action.

Bought a pair of these lights in September 2017. One is still working well, but the other gives only an occasional flicker. Disappointing.Water seem to accumulate in the stem of the lights, and I suspect that it can build up and affect the on/off switch or some aspect of the wiring. In any case, it seems that this product suffers from the ailment that has troubled other solar lights I've tried, namely that sooner or later the weather kills them. These have lasted a bit better than some such lights, but then they should do because they're not cheap.

The fire effect is very realistic and looks great at night. They are solar powered so all you have to do is find a good spot and stick them in the ground.Our garden is fairy large and it’s fun to see one of two flickering away in the distance. It’s just a bit of fun and adds a bit of depth to the garden at night.We’ve ended up buying a few for family and friends.

Fantastic well made sturdy Solar Torch Garden Light. I bought this light to go in my back garden. I pushed all 3 pieces of hard rigid plastic pipe together easily, which gave the light a good height. I then simply placed the pointer in the ground. This light looks great during the evening - it looks like the real thing! I love it and can't wait to have my family around for a BBQ one evening so I can show it off! I would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed and it's built to a high standard so looks like it will last!

I bought two which looked so amazing I bought another two. Unfortunately one of the first pair no longer works and I suspect the second one has died a death.I won't buy any more. They are too expensive to be disposable.

I absolutely love these lights! I found the recommendation on 'Fred's Shed' so I was expecting to be pleased, and was not disappointed. My current disappointment however is that they seem to be no longer in stock. I bought one pair to make sure I liked them before investing in more, and now they're no longer available.
