I purchased two solar lights. At first I was impressed with the look of the bright flickering flame and ability to charge them on a sunny day. However, I soon changed my mind when one the lights failed to work after being exposed to bright sunlight for eight hours. When they work they are very attractive but one of the lights only worked for two weeks. Disappointed.

To add to the other 5 star reviews these do really look great. Very robust plastic construction. So far (August) have stayed lit all night. Get the impression they will last very well but time will tell. Winter performance will be interesting to monitor too. Will update review in due course. These have survived two torrential downpours without problems so far. If these last well as I think they might, will certainly be buying more. So far all 4 units performing very well.Update: Just after the 30 day return period one of these failed. Tried leaving it on charge only for 48 hours but no luck. As the order is fulfilled by Amazon I dont think it possible to contact the seller although would be pleased to hear from them if they read this ! The other three are working fine still and whilst this early failure is disappointing still worth 4 stars.

Bought a pair of these lights in September 2017. One is still working well, but the other gives only an occasional flicker. Disappointing.Water seem to accumulate in the stem of the lights, and I suspect that it can build up and affect the on/off switch or some aspect of the wiring. In any case, it seems that this product suffers from the ailment that has troubled other solar lights I've tried, namely that sooner or later the weather kills them. These have lasted a bit better than some such lights, but then they should do because they're not cheap.

I bought two which looked so amazing I bought another two. Unfortunately one of the first pair no longer works and I suspect the second one has died a death.I won't buy any more. They are too expensive to be disposable.

I absolutely love these lights! I found the recommendation on 'Fred's Shed' so I was expecting to be pleased, and was not disappointed. My current disappointment however is that they seem to be no longer in stock. I bought one pair to make sure I liked them before investing in more, and now they're no longer available.

July 17: Arrived promptly. Impressive flickering light effect - only tested over 1 night so far.Nov 17: Great torches. After working very well one of the two lights developed a fault and would not switch off, or back on after charging.. Dafunderec supplied a replacement light which works well so far..

Best garden lights we have ever had. You get what you pay for with these lights. We've just bought another 2 as they look so good. Truly recommend - don't be put off by the price.

Like other reviews I can confirm these lights as a first class purchase. I have other solar lights around the garden, but these are by far the best.
