Tyre Valve Dust Caps x8 (2 Packs Of 4)

My son and his partner are a two-car family, and these dust caps caught my eye. They live in an area where dust caps disappear almost as fast as they are replaced and, at 10p for four, I thought they sounded great. I thought that, if they were any good, I'd order more for my daughter and her partner, and for myself and my sister - as they are one of those silly little things you want but never get around to actually shopping for.Listed as "2 Packs of 4", they were not actually in a 'pack'. They came, loose, in a small plastic self-seal envelope - with the address/customs label covering the whole front. Not that it mattered in the least, because they arrived safely, and are perfectly adequate for purpose. At 2½p each, you can't go wrong, as this even includes the P&P, from Thailand. You will have to wait about 5 weeks for them, after placing the order, but for me that was preferable to driving to buy them.

Dust caps, what can you say? Had to buy these after I stupidly left all four caps on the roof of my car when filling tyres with air at my local petrol station. These arrived quickly, nice and cheap and do the job. Worth buying eight if you're as absent minded as I am.

I simply needed a set of tyre valve caps for my wife’s car. These fitted the bill perfectly with some to spare.

So here was my dilemma, some urchin pinched a dust cap (or it fell off) and Halfords wanted to charge me the thick end of three quid for four of these little blighters... These were 95p for 8, delivered in 48 hours. Result. I was tempted to upgrade to the alloy variety but was put off by horror stories of weird chemical reactions. So there it is, you pays yer money and you gets yer choc-ice, and jolly good choc-ice it is too, the rather disappointing sequel to jolly good choc-ice it is one.... sorry I ran out of things to write so I accidentally started a Barry Norman monologue...

What can you say about dust caps. They aren’t exactly great quality but they do the job. The big minus was it took ages to be delivered. So purchase before you need them.

Now Amazon has asked me to review my purchase of these fine plastic dust caps- and struggle as I might there is little more I can say other than they are valve dust caps made of plastic ..they shall replace the ones that the thieving ***** keep taking from my car in Sri Lanka when we go there ..and so that is why I am taking 8 of the damned things as someone is too bloody lazy to buy some for himself .I did consider locking ones but I have read bad reviews about some of those .So hence my purchase of plastic valve caps which I'm sure wont disappoint me or the thieving **** who shall take them again when I park up in a supermarket car park ... If the came in a tin the tin would read " They do what they say on the Tin " act as dust caps !! no better and no worse than the ones the car came with ..I thank you

Si adattano perfettamente a qualsiasi valvola di pneumatici auto o moto. Esattamente il prodotto che cercavo: semplici cappucci di plastica anonimi. Standard.

Pedí 8 tapònes y he recibido 80. Eso sí que es una buena compra. Ya no tendré nunca miedo a perder uno, cuando vas a inflar las ruedas en una gasolinera.

Sin problemas de suministro ni embalaje, sólo la típica tardanza de algunos proveedores. No le doy mejor clasificación porque al tacto son de un plástico que se me antoja demasiado rígido, y preveo que se agriete o se fracture con facilidad. Funcionan mejor los que siendo más blandos, se adaptan. De todas formas, los acabo de recibir, y aún no puedo opinar del resultado a largo plazo. Editaré si cambio de opinión.
