The first thing that strikes you is that this looks and feels like real leather. Pretty amazing. Confusing to put on at first so get help figuring it out as you put it on. Hint: the shoulder strap and belt are a single connected unit so don’t think they’re separate. The belt also helps hide any gut you may have as you can cinch it up pretty well because of the quality. Don’t overlook this costume addition.

This piece is accurate to the sole survivor set seen in game of Fallout 4 and the dedication to detail to be accurate is pretty good. The set came with a Shoulder pauldron, not pictured in description, that does not seem to attach to the harness in any way. It has a single elastic strap under it and when I wear it, the pauldron just dangles. Wish there was a way to attach it to the shoulder piece of the harness.As stated in other reviews for this item, the package came without instructions on how to put it on. After adjusting and moving straps around for an hour I figured it out.Major con: the edges were harshly cut and its synthetic leather that will frill out. All the pieces have single thread stitching that will fail eventually. I plan to seal the edges and stitching in hopes of preventing anything falling apart. The belt buckle and other buckles are thin metal, do not adjust to a tight fit or it will break.If this item was made with better quality materials it would be phenomenal.

Got my belts today. Trying them on was an adventure I wasn't really prepared for. I like the product. I'm happy with the quality. I'm a bit fatter than I should be, so the strap that goes around the waist is too short. But once I got the under-arm strap connected to the back, and fit the snaps on the shoulder strap, everything looked about how I expected it to (which means I look nothing like the model, but I'm happy with the way it turned out). Having said that, it took a good half hour to figure out where everything was supposed to go. Instructions would have been perfect, or side pictures of the model to show exactly how things were supposed to connect. I'm still not totally certain about the waist strap, but since it won't reach I'm not going to worry about it. All in all, my peering concernedly at the pictures trying to make it fit isn't going to detract from how happy I am with the product itself.

I covered the faux leather with some leftover wood stain, mostly to cover the seams. It took on a more realistic 'leather' look. Decent construction overall.

This was tricky to assemble together at first look, but once it was together, it was perfect. The quality is fantastic and heavy duty. It completed the look of my outfit without looking cheap at all. My only complaint is the shoulder guard was stitched a little too stiff so it would hang off my shoulder like it's meant to, instead continually sliding down my arm as there was no give to keep it on top while moving my arms

Seems to be well made and good quality for the price. The bullet loops were a bit off but was able to get them to look OK by rotating the sleeve around the belt. The chest strap is a bit small and kinda uncomfortable but might not be necessary as long as you have the belt on snug and the bandolier tightened enough. You could also probably add a strap in between the connection points to add a bit more length. The bullets do not look great but they are pretty covered by the loops and a bit of paint could make them look better. Lots of room on the belt/bandolier to add other accessories.

While this item is suitable for Halloween costume use, it is nowhere near the quality I would expect for the price. I didn’t expect real leather or a perfect fit. I also expected that I may need to do some work to get it to go together but the seams and stitching are absolutely sub par. It also lacks any instructions on how to assemble or adjust it to fit better. If this was $20 or $30 I would be a LOT more understanding but at the price they are charging, I expected a little more.If you are looking for a high quality cosplay grade item, look elsewhere. If you don’t mind exposed seams, loose threads and a lack of any instructions, then you might be okay with this.

I'm 5' 6" and this thing does not fit me well but if you wear a heavy hoodie it can fit
