I really like the way the filter looks and how things are well thought through. The water flow is really good and you can regulate the water flow very precisely. It's also very easy to clean. The biggest problem I had was that from time to time it would make a really loud vibrating noise. I checked everything but the problem persisted. I finally decided to ask for a replacement. The replacement is much quieter but it was again vibrating loudly the other day. So far that happened only once.The only way that I found out would make that vibration stop was by turning the filter off and back on again.I'm posting a video for noise level comparison, the first filter and the replacement in a compilation.

A well-made filter but I found it to be excessively noisy. Might be alright in a "fish room" but mine (size 20) is in a quiet room and very noticeable. I put my original Aqua Clear back in the 10-gallon tank.
