Lovely Large Worktop Protectors
These were purchased to join an existing one we already owned. They protect our lovely new kitchen worktop and are just what we required. They have gone up considerably in price since we bought the original one, but are the sort of thing you only need to buy occasionally.

Does the job
This is the second one of these I have had. The first lasted approximately 10 years before needing replacing. We don't generally use it as a chopping board, but as somewhere to put hot pans and dishes. I also use it at points for rolling out pastry or icing.It is not significantly frosted - just enough to blur anything underneath slightly. It looks unobtrusive on my worktop and is a decent size. Cleaning is easy as well.
