Teak is the Absolute best wood for Outdoor Furniture. Teak has an enormous amount of oil in it and that oil has rubber content and insecticides in it naturally. Along with being a very tight grained and dense wood , that combination makes teak impervious to water...hence the longevity you get with teak. That's why teak has been used for hundreds of years on boats and ships. Don't settle for less...there's alot of "Teak Like" woods being sold but Teak is the "Gold Standard"...so why settle for less?

Unstable and unsafe for camp seating
We purchased two of these chairs, we were interested in the slim profile storage and the 20"width. The chairs are very unstable due to the deep cantilevered seat deck. No dimension in the description will indicate this issue. They would not be functional as a camp chair as advertised. We felt them to be too dangerous to use near a campfire! In addition to the functional issues, the wood is not normal quality teak wood as indicated. One chair we received appeared to be mildewed. The discoloration is more than expected normal wood tone differences. We own ALOT of teak furniture, NONE of it has ever had that issue.We received the chairs with a sale ticket attached showing $60 less than what we were charged. So disappointed in the quality and functional issues didn’t even try to address that issue.We did receive a refund of the full purchase price but the seller had agreed to reimburse for the return shipping cost. Once he received the chairs, he change his mind, credibility issue?
