Great food scale for daily use
love this for when I’m using recipes that call for ½ cup of strawberries or a certain number of grams—it’s just easier to measure strawberries in grams. This scale is perfect for that. I also use it after I make a salad: I place the bowl on the scale, zero it out, and then add my dressing. One less dish to wash! It’s been a great tool for meal prepping too. I can divide leftovers into equal portions with ease, which helps with both planning and portion control. The scale switches between units (grams, ounces, and pounds) with the press of a button, making it super user-friendly for any recipe. The surface is smooth and easy to clean, and the compact size makes it simple to store. It doesn’t take button batteries—just 2 AAA batteries, which I haven’t had to replace even after a couple of months of frequent use. A USB port for charging would be a bonus, but honestly, I can’t complain. This is a reliable, lightweight, and accurate scale that I’d recommend to anyone who cooks, bakes, or preps meals regularly.

Worthy to use it
I use it a lot for pretty much every thing and of course not all recipe have weight scale amount but once I use it and I use a lot as less use measure cup for dry ingredients because they end up have variety weight even if want match scale amount number. I have zero issues weight scale the fluid type alike drink or sour cream or like that because it very common to knowledge read weight as 1 cup of water equal 8 oz fluid oz (u know). Since I have it for year and have zero issues with it. Clean it- actually I don't clean it but I'm pretty sure it easy to clean.

I like it!
This was a gift but I have to say, (I already have a different style scale) when I looked at it, I wanted to order one of these for me anyway.I like the round shape and the size of this unit. It seemed to have all the settings that mine does. Pounds - ounces, ounces, fluid ounces etc...This is definitely handy to have around the kitchen... I like my scale and use it all the time, but I wish I had this one.Sorry I can't give you a hands-on review... All you get is my opinion!Enjoy!

Good scale, bad batteries
My old scale broke so I bought this one on the fly. Works great! Only reason I took a star off was because the amazon batteries that came with it didn’t work, luckily I had my own to use.

Perfectly Simple. Surprisingly Essential
The Amazon Basics Digital Kitchen Scale is everything I didn’t know I needed—sleek black + stainless design, clear LCD display, and yes, batteries included (a small but mighty win). It’s incredibly intuitive—no instruction manual deep dives or button confusion here. Just tap it on, zero it out, and go. Whether I’m dialing in the perfect espresso shot, portioning protein like a pro, or weighing out ingredients for a Sunday sourdough, this thing delivers.Lightweight but solid. Simple but smart. For the price, it punches well above its weight—literally.

Perfect for cooking.
Great for smaller weights. I bake a cake... 2 eggs in a glass. Tap tare and add 1oz cranberry syrup 2oz olive oil 2oz apple sauce. Add it to cake mix with a tablespoon of instant coffee. Then tap tare again and add 8oz water. Then bake 22 minutes, turn 180° and bake 22 minutes (two glass cake pans). That's it.

Way better than my old one
For years I used an Escali kitchen scale but it always stuck when you pushed the buttons. So I was going to get a new scale and had settled on another Escali when I saw this gem. It has been perfect and the buttons don't stick because they are raised up a bit. Plus it was like ten bucks cheaper. Go with this one.

A Perfect Scale for Every Kitchen
I bought this scale several months ago to weigh out servings of almonds. It works quite well. Now I also started using it to measure out coffee beans for grinding. Again it works perfectly. I don’t know what I did before I had a scale it seems and this one seems durable & is an excellent value for the money. It stores nicely in a cabinet taking up very little space. It’s a nice size in that.
