Install in engine compartment
So far so good. Installed the compressor and manifold up beside the battery . This should keep it cleaner and last longer. You will probably need a little more air hose to do it this way. Love the remote.

Great Support
I used the wireless air system on my 2018 Chevy 2500HD Duramax truck to improve towing my fifth wheel trailer. Having a wireless remote and bluetooth for control of the system air pressure is awesome. Anyhow, About 2yrs and 3mo after purchasing and installing, the remote quit working. Tried new battery, but it wouldn't turn on nor display anything. I got on Air Lift's website and opened a warranty ticket even though I was 3 mo past the expiration. I didn't receive any replies, but a few days later a new remote showed up at my house with a UPS label to return the failed unit. This is a company that stands behind their products!

Installation on Ford Transit was easy
I bought this for my Transit conversion van air bags. It’s easy to install after you find a spot to mount things. The instructions are probably the best I’ve ever seen. Only thing I did different was used a pair of tubing cutters (those used to cut PEX tubing) to cut the air lines. They give a nice square clean cut. I have zero air leaks.

It sometimes fails to connect.
All in all pretty darn good and it beats backing up to my compressor and filling, checking, releasing, filling checking... and so on.It does fail to connect about 1 in 5 times. it doesnt matter if I am in or outside the truck.
