Perfect for most small woodwork jobs.
I am not a brand loyal person. Never have been, but this product might just make me rethink that.I am not a wood-worker. I make models with and out of wood. Primarily ships but I've been expanding a bit into other things. As such I've used a few different wood glues and each have their merits. A lot of the time I use the nail hating glue, as that has produced good results in the past for my hobbies. As this was cheaper at the time I needed more glue I decided to give this a try.It was a lot better than I expected. With almost no aroma there was nothing to cause irritation while I was building a U-Boat over the last few weeks. As I intend to sail the submarine I need it to be water tight on the joints and the wood to not spring open as soon as it sees a drop of water - which happened with a popular branded glue a couple years back. To try this out in water, I made a barrel out of scrap wood, painted the inside and outside with a thin coat of this glue, which I also used to secure the boards and base. I small fishing weight in the bottom to make sure it stayed upright and after leaving to dry for a couple days I dropped this into a bowl of water and left it there. The following day, the barrel was still floating, the inside was dry and it hadn't sunk. Not a bad result. Normally I wouldn't paint the wood with glue in this fashion, there are more reliable methods of waterproofing, but it seemed a reasonable test at the time. Next test, more scrap wood, but this time I left it free of glue, just securing the wood to a base frame. Dropped that in the water and left it. Unsurprisingly the wood was soaked when I returned to it and had expanded somewhat. Interestingly, the parts that were glued were still glued - and that was an important part of the experiment for me. The barrel was still muchly the same shape where I had glued it even though the rest had expanded and warped. The glue was holding even when the wood was wet.CoolSo, this being the first successful test of that little experiment I may just be loyal to this particular brand of wood glue. It holds well, it behaves well under pressure, it is clean, easy to use, mostly odourless and dries to a decent finish that aside from a bit of a shine, isn't noticeable on the materials I've used it on so far. It would be far too expensive to use this for waterproofing a model, but at least I know that if water should get in to the model, the joints will stay where they are glue. The rest I can deal with. This is a comparable strength to the nail hating glue I've used in the past, is easier to apply as it is not so thin and cleans off surfaces and skin very easily until dry, then it's not so easy to get off.I glued two small pieces of ply together to check the strength of this glue, and the wood gave way and tore before the glue, I consider that a good thing. So far I don't have anything bad to say about this product. It works as advertised, is easy to apply, easy to clean and doesn't stink the house out. As it is not as runny as previous glues I have used, it means I can get more into the target area and not have to worry about it running out the other side while sealing and clamping joints. So far as I can tell this is a very good glue that works the way it should. Worth the money and I will buy more when I need it.

Great wood glue
Used this for a few years now and it's my goto wood glue. I normally buy the 1ltr bottle as it works out cheaper but if not used in time it can go really thick in the bottle and become un-usable, I have found storing it after use upside down (in cut down drinks bottle) the best way so far and obviously wiping any glue from nozzle after use like a good boy :-)
