Cuts grease, gentle on my skin
I love this soap! When I took a cooking class at Sur La Table, the teaching chefs had us use this soap. The Lemon grass has a nice scent. I keep it in the kitchen. It is great at removing grease from my hands, but doesn't dry out my skin. Instructions say it is made of natural ingredients, so color may vary. I once had a bottle that looked cloudy, but the manufacturer said it was fine and the cloudiness was due to the fragrance.

Doesn't wreck my hands!
I've always been a frequent handwasher, always have had dry skin, and hand soap has always trashed my hands. My hands can crack and bleed in the winter if I'm not vigilant about moisturizer my hands after every hand wash. The problem with most hand soaps is sodium lauryl sulfate or one of it's cousins. It's a great surfactant, but it can be very drying. This hand soap is SLS-free! I can up my hands as much as I need to and it takes much less of a toll on my hands. Also, it is manufacturered using zero-waste guidelines and made from plants. It is also very affordable and smells just like lavender!I've already repurchased and ECOS hand soap is in every dispenser I own. I can't imagine going back to any other hand soap!

Try it! It's great!
This is much better than I expected for the price! It is colorless, and watery looking, but when I put it in my empty soft soap dispenser and gave it a try, it was a great surprise. Works up into a nice lather, lightly scented scented. Rinsed off with no sticky feel and no dry skin.Great value!

Yep, it's pretty good.
I like this handsoap a lot; my partner doesn't. It does sometimes feel hard to wash off completely but I've had worse and this seems to be a feature of a lot of "eco" soaps anyway, I've become pretty used to it from years of using stuff like this at my job, which favors more natural products usually. Anyway, it's not THAT bad and that is a complaint mostly from my partner who prefers more typical, aggressively drying soaps. The smell is lovely and not too strong. Normally would buy at the store but they were out; this shipped to me without any leakage or breakage though.

Gentle but leaves a film on drain
I'm undecided if I would buy this again. The soap is gentle but it leaves a white film on my bronze drain.

Smells good, decent value
As others have commented, this isn't a thick gel like soap. It's pretty low viscosity so your standard pumps will pump out quite a bit. The scent is nice and clean, not overpowering and lingers but not too long. It doesn't dry my skin out but I'd also not say it's moisturizing to any noticeable degree. Overall, it's a good value and I've already purchased more.

Kind on my eczema prone hands
I suffer from eczema and need to be careful about soap and skincare products. The Dawn antibacterial hand soap that we stocked up on caused my hand eczema to flare up - it's terrible when your hands are dry, flaky, and itchy. My significant other's hands were even dry and he doesn't have eczema.I learned that sodium laureth sulfate (SLS), which allows soap to sud and lather, can trigger eczema flares and is present in the Dawn soap. I came across this ECOS SLS-free soap and was hoping that it would ameliorate my hand eczema problem. It did! My eczema has cleared up, and for the last month it hasn't hurt to use my hands!Details:- Gentle on skin, especially for eczema sufferers!- Lathering: Other reviewers have noted that this soap doesn't lather as much as others. This makes sense because it doesn't have SLS, the sudsing that other soaps have. But it's definitely soap and works for cleaning your hands!- Smell: Definitely lemongrass!Would definitely purchase again, and recommend to other eczema sufferers. Now we need to determine what to do with the ~2 gallons of Dawn hand soap that we purchased previously....Update (Dec. 16, 2020): We did re-purchase and are still using this soap. Favorite hand soap of all time!
