I ordered this for use on a white carpet (highly impractical colour) in my home-office which is also shared with my French Lop house-rabbit. Unfortunately, Willy the bunny, had an unseen cut on his heel and spent the day happily hopping around this 6m x 5m room before I spotted his injury - and the blood spots and pawprints he left dotted around the room. Over the following months, I tried various methods of removing them along with several stain removers but they had little, if any, effect and some seemed to spread the stains around and enlarge them.Thankfully I had better results with this. By now, the bloodstains were approaching 8 months old so had dried and were encrusted into the carpet ie presenting quite a challenge to any cleaner. I sprayed on a little, left it for 15 minutes and mopped up the stain - and about 90-95% came out (see before and after photos). Because there were so many stains and having seen this cleaner is the only one which actually worked, I then sprayed all of the stains and set to work with the Vax carpet shampooer and am relieved to say the office no longer resembles a blood bath.Blood is notoriously difficult to remove from carpets, especially white carpets and even more so when it's been left for 8 months. So, for anyone looking for an effective stain remover which will remove blood, then this is definitely one to consider.

I use this to clean up cat sick, it has cleaned well but the product when wet has a horrible sick smell, far worse than the actual cat sick. The smell disappears once it dries

This is absolutely excellent stuff. I didn't actually buy it for a carpet stain, I bought it for a really bad and large blood stain which had been washed, and tumble dried in a sheet.As we all know blood when dried in is almost impossible to remove and I'd tried all sorts, so wasn't really expecting a great deal from this either. But I sprayed it on both sides of the sheet and then left it overnight.Amazingly the stain had completely gone in the morning, no trace at all. I'm am in the process of cleaning my car prior to the lease ending on the vehicle. 2 years ago while drinking a protein shake on my way back from the gym I inevitably spilled a load of it all over my lap and the faux suede/alcantara seats in the car. Despite many attempts to clean the car using a multitude of cleaning products, there was still an outline of the stain all over the seat, as well as discolouration of the area where the spill occurred. I bought this as a last gasp attempt to clean the seat and not have to pay a fee. I sprayed a reasonably generous amount on the the seat and used a soft bristle brush to rub the product into the seat. I then left it alone for 15 minutes. I came back with a white rag and began rubbing the product out of the seat and to my utter amazement, I noticed a large amount of reddish brown residue all over the cloth which I haven't ever noticed with other cleaners. Once I had got out as much of the product as I could, I repeated the process. Lo and behold more residue came out (though less than the first time). I was anxious to see what the area looked like dry so I borrowed the wifes hairdryer and the stain was gone. Once the seat was fully dry, I used another soft bristle brush to brush the material and make the pile stand up. The seats look factory fresh.And now the negatives...I had to clean the other seats because this got the stained area so clean that the rest of the seat looked a little grotty.

Removed a copious amount of dried blood from my cream carpet. Repeated twice. Very pleased as I had visions of having to replace the carpet.So effective that I ordered another bottle to keep in reserve!

I have previously bought this item from Amazon following my daughter (aged <18months at the time) spilling milk on carpet, being sick on a bed, slight urine trickles and for some small blood staining from accidents. Even after cleaning the carpet, the smell from small spillage of milk remained -this removed it. Blood stain, sick and urine on a mattress all came out with ease and no lasting smell or stains. I would highly recommend. The bottle laster me a good 2years and used it infrequently and upon running out, i have now replaced it to always keep one in the cupboard as you can never be sure with a toddler/pre-schooler!

Needed this to get some blood stains off a carpet after my elderly father scratched himself. A squi of this and a little scrubbing and the stain came out. Very good.
