Easy installation. An excellent and affordable addition of security for the older large glass sliding doors. Excellent fit. Durable build. Please carefully measure the areas where you want to install, so as that you find the exact fit. I messed up the first time I made a purchase.

Secure lock
Looks nice and really works well on my 2 sliders that have dog door inserts and thus couldn't lock normally. Very happy with this product, sure solved a problem.

Not a universal fit
Be advised this is not a universal fit for all sliders. Some of you lucked out and your slider was accepting of the hardware hassle free. My application, I had to grind down 4 out of 6 screws, little by little to ensure it would be secure with no impedance. The screws would have shattered the glass if mods were not done. Other than a 10 minute job turning into a 1hr job, the lock is operational.

Mismatched parts, no seller support, Seller refunded outside the 30day return period.
The slots in the metal bracket were too narrow for the sliding bolt/latch to fit. Basically, the parts they supplied don’t work together. No way to contact seller to get the correct part.UPDATE: within a day of posting the 1 star review the Seller offered and promptly processed the refund. Changed review to 3 stars.
