NOT recommended. This product is not worth the price at all. It came with the wrong plug, meaning an adapter had to be used. VERY noisy even on the lowest fan speed. The only 'cooling' part about it is the mist sprayers which only spray about 10cm in front of the unit. Definitely not XL it is tiny, not much bigger than a tissue box. Extremely under whelming product and i would stay clear. its defiantly better value to invest in a proper portable air conditioner than this junk. Any other bad reviews this product has are going to be correct as well. Steer clear. I CANT EVEN RETURN IT BECAUSE OF WHERE I LIVE. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY ALMOST HALF THE COST OF THE UNIT TO RETURN IT.

I’ve been purchasing these since the original Arctic Air came out and although they were NEVER perfect, they always worked. This is my first year I’m having to switch brands. “The Pure Chill 2.0” leaks on any setting and the filter was a joke. Then this newer Chill Zone XL model has a really cool design but the misters gave out after 2 days with the first model and the second works intermittently. I hope they change their products soon because these are pricey and don’t even work properly.Find an older model if you want another Arctic Air, I recommend the “Pure Chill” (not the 2.0) and any older model before that one. I’ve returned both of my Chill Zone XLs and won’t ever purchase this expensive model ever again.
