Great for Travel with one catch
I bought this product because I travel a lot and wanted to watch my shows on hotel tvs instead of dealing with whatever is on local tv. It works very well for that purpose, allowing me to stream Youtube TV, Plex, and others wirelessly. The only drawbacks I found was that it would not work with my Anker USB-C Dongle, requiring to be plugged directly into the Surface Pro USB-C Port and since it has to be plugged directly into the device, your phone won't be able to charge unless you have a travel wireless charger.

Does not work consistently. Fragile connectors
Perhaps I have not been lucky with this item. My first one ended up damaged by a very fragile HDMI connector. My second one functions but regularly disconnects for five or ten seconds then reconnects. It is most annoying. It also has intermittent problems with the quality of the image on the TV, ghosting-like artefacts.

Impressive and very easy to use
Ever wanted to cast your laptop's screen to an older TV or conference room projector without running a long cable? This device achieves that.I plug the receiver and transmitter into their respective ports (and used the included USB cables for power). Within a few seconds the image from the computer appeared on my TV. No need to push any extra buttons or set anything up.The splash screen on the receiver shows a network SSID which lets you connect a mobile device to its mini hotspot through wi-fi and presents instructions for doing so. Unfortunately I was unable to get this working, but that's not what I needed the device for. (Chances are your TV or streaming stick already has a mobile casting feature anyway.)

Good Picture, Simple Setup, Powered by USB Port
I have an older Sharp TV that has a very low power USB port, only designed to be used for firmware updates, but it powered the receiver! This is the first device ever that it could power. It works very well with my windows laptop. I did however have some jittering happen only one time, but it worked flawlessly after that for a very long time. I have no idea why, but it only happened once. I was mirroring my Windows laptop, and it could have been my laptop unable to keep both displays working perfectly. The Picture Quality was Very Good. I tested it watching YouTube videos, and it worked well with Video. This was dead simple to set up, it was literally plug and play. You plug into a USB port for power, and HDMI port for the video. When you plug in the receiver into your TV, it shows a picture immediately, telling you its connection status. Once it connects with the transmitter, it shows connected. when there is a signal coming from the transmitter it automatically starts displaying it.There's a pamphlet included with quick start instructions, it also has a QR code that links to the complete manual, you can download. It works as simply and well as I was hoping it would. It should work with anything that has an HDMI Port.

Not for Gaming
If you intend to use this with a game console or computer, look elsewhere. The latency is reasonable but far too long for gaming or office work. Gaming there is a noticeable delay in all your actions, and a mouse feels slow and hard to control. It’s also limited to 1080P 60fps, which is not enough for most office and gaming use cases. Comparing directly to a wired connection, the image looked more washed out and lacking in color. This does have a few other use cases however.1.) If you want to use this for video, the audio and video signal and very well matched. I think it would be fine for most video based entertainment.2.) You want a short term solution for checking a headless servers.I use it for checking on my headless servers on a raspberry pi running Linux as well as a windows server. The servers immediately recognized the video out and the transmitter/receiver paired with no intervention. I could then troubleshoot the server from any nearby monitor or TV! This is way easier then moving the server around to be in reach of an HDMI cable and doesn’t present any tripping hazard. Pair this with a wireless keyboard and you have an easy way to wirelessly hook up to any computer or device.Pros:1.) East to pair and setup2.) Good range3.) Solid compatibility4.) No app or drivers neededCons:1.) Long Latency2.) Washed out colors3.) 1080P 60FPS only

Well made, simple to use... and it works perfectly
The most important thing is that they work perfectly and are super easy to get working. Just plug them in on both sides, and give them power and they work.I like the simplicity and attention to detail. They include 2USB cables for both sides in the package, one for each side. Oddly, the cables are pretty long, which is not essential, but helpful in case you need to plug this into a USB power brick on a wall outlet.

Junk. Doesn’t work
Tried this with laptop to projector, then laptop to tv, never worked. Seemed like it linked or connected but never transferred screen picture. No number to call so emailed them, no response. Messaged them on messenger no response. DO NOT BUY ITEM IS A PIECE OF JUNK.

Works great
I plugged these in and boom! They instantly worked. What a great way to save time and money running cord through the wall or worse hanging from your TV!
