We initially bought a half-size bass guitar online, but it turned out way too big for our child to learn on, so we had to invest in another one - this one! It’s fantastic and fits our 6-year-old perfectly. Even his tutor was impressed with the quality. We weren’t too sure about it at first since there weren’t many reviews, but the sound quality and appearance are spot-on. You never know what you’re going to get, but we’re very happy customers and our child has been using it for months without any issues.

This is a good option if you don't fancy lugging your big jazz bass to a gig. Great for practice. Plays really well, about the same scale length as a guitar. I don't expect even expensive guitars and basses to set up straight out of the box. Mine needed the nut slots filing down a little. Intonation was perfect. The action at the twelve fret was acceptable for a bass, with no string buzz. I would highly recommend this instrument.

This bass is great for travel or if you struggle for whatever reason with a full-scale bass. I use this for a ukulele group so that my bass is more 'in-keeping' with the size of the other instruments. It's got a great 'precision' type sound and plays really well. Mine came well set up - although I have since put a different bridge on to give a slightly better experience. My biggest frustration has been tracking down spare strings that fit. In the end I resorted to having a couple of sets custom made to fit the scale length - because the 'Blackstar' strings were never available. I would highly recommend this bass. It's not expensive and plays really nicely.

Just received yesterday and I think the bass is brilliant. I think the white one I have looks nice and I like the way the ones from Amazon don't have a pick guard, I don't think it needs it. Holds tuning well, great action and plugged in I was surprised how good the p bass style pickup sounded. Can't wait to use it live, no doubt someone will say to me why do you keep using travel guitars, well it means I don't break my back using a heavy full size instrument and doesn't take up a ton of room in a small pub ect.

Great little instrument, love it. light weight and value for money

Just needed a bass for my own jam loops. Never played a bass before, the size and price fulfilled my needs. Sounds great, the short scale replacement strings do seem hard to source though.

It was almost perfect from the very beginning. The only thing I did was to replace the strat knobs with metal Tele ones. It sound great, easy to play, and hits just the right spot in my recording environment. The price was right too.
