Der Rucksack ist toll und übersichtlich. Allerdings wiegt er schon im leeren Zustand einiges.

Looking for a personal item that was maximum size. Concerned because this is a backpack and that airline might treat as carry on rather than personal item. This the 3 stars — Because it’s much bigger than other backpacks reviewed.It’s a 5 star if not concerned or want as a travel backpack.Really high quality, more so than other backpacks. The martial was top notch fabric. The design really stands out.Had plenty of pockets. But most outside one was horizontal/side zip. Unusual.Hard to judge if pockets were “right size” or not. It’s designed very specifically for a laptop. If you don’t carry a laptop the layout of the bag might not be optimal for you. Better design for magazines to replace laptop than books.The fold away backpack straps are sweet concept. Guess you’d want to walk on plane as backpack to divert attention from it being a potential carry on. If that’s possible at all. But can attach it easy to your carry on to roll through the airport and not have anything heavy on your back.Also, destination use matters. You’re not going to go on tours, hiking, walking, etc. with a more “traditional” shaped personal item.Don’t know if you can keep as much clothes as advertised and anything else without this ringing alarm bells as too large to be a personal item. Also way too arrive clothes is both helpful and unhelpful. Hard to describe. What works works really well. What doesn’t, not sure how much of a problem. Maybe not much, maybe a little. Maybe a lot.Some of the pockets seemed superfluous. Are you really going to keep or “hide” your cell in your bag? Or are you going to keep it in your pocket? Same for a wallet and Especially a passport. Who would put a bag down in the airport waiting area with those items in it. If you have a purse or pocketbook they’ll be in there and that’ll be your personal item.If you can keep it to basic size and not stuff it full and carry it on your back while boarding maybe, maybe, possibly with some luck and possibly a diversion you can try to have it pass as personal item. Don’t stuff it if that’s how you want to use it. Really really really don’t expand the bag father than basic size.Especially outside USA.No two airlines are alike. And if traveling to multiple destinations you might get away with it on one airline but not another.

This bag is pretty and durable. I can easily fit 4 days worth of clothes in it. Fits under the seat snuggly when full. I love this bag

This is great for holding a lot of stufd, but when full can get heavy. Even with expander open, it fit uner the seat and in tge overhead bin. Wish there were more smaller pockets inside the front compartments, but has quite a few.
