I have used them on pants and a shirt. When they first arrive, the backs are hard to get off but after that they are easy to use.

These are great for skirts and tightening thinner waistbands very easily. However, I found these very difficult to unscrew in order to pin on my skirts, making positioning and repositioning a tedious task.

I got this mainly for one pair of jeans to use the diamond ones. With that, they work.However! The pins are so difficult to get apart for most of them and I tried to redo the pins I originally put in the jeans to make them even tighter, but I wasn’t actually able to pull them out!Yet another Amazon seller who hot glued the pieces together, as there was a missing pearly one. And I mean I have hot glue to redo them, but it wasn’t even in the package.Overall they worked, but I can’t redo as easily as I would like to. It seems like I probably can’t wash these now either with the metal clanging around… cute, but I’d try something else if you have options!

Love that it makes all my big pants wearable now and I don't have to worry about the waist sizing too much. Plus is a great alternative to a belt. Definitely worth it.

What is the secret to getting these apart? Are they supposed to unscrew or just pull apart? I can only use a few out of the 24 pieces to come apart so I can use them.

These are great if you don't know how to sew but you need to take in a pair of pants at the waist because they are a bit big---but you love the pants! There are two different types of closures that come with the kit; one purl and one clear sparkle. They both look great and they do dress up the pants. In addition, they are very easy to install. I am a thriftier and I do sew but these contractions just reduced my mending pile! I am ordering more for myself as the first set was for a custom alternating job.

Backs DO NOT pull apart easily...very frustrating. They are so attractive, but I cannot use them. Hurts my fingers and some will not pull apart. Disappointed.
