Faulty + Worthless warranty
This product was purchased in September 2019 but had to be replaced immediately as a large section of the heating element was not working. After just over 2 years, the entire unit failed. Attempted to claim on the 30 year warranty only to be told the affected component was only covered for 2 years| I read that as - "anything that is likely to break is not covered by the warranty".

Five Stars
So easy to control

Keeping warm a must.
Quick delivery to my door and fairly easy to hang/fix to the wall, with self explanatory instruction program thermostat ie.. up/down arrows and a ok button. The heater works as I expected for the 2000kw model and replaced an open coal fire in a twelve foot square room (3.6m square) and if only it would have been a little cheaper I would have given it five stars.

Instructions not well written
Finding it difficult to get working as the instruction are not very clear for the control panel

Controller has failed after 5 years, and quoted £303 to replace!!!
Purchased one of these from a local installer, as he quoted a better price than Amazon. The heater looks solid, well made and is quite heavy. Mine has been fitted in our conservatory. It is important to check the heater’s fitted thermostat, as it can be adjusted. Ours was showing 4 degrees too low, this does not mean it is faulty, but affected by the position, in our case just above a very cold floor, as the thermostat is under the bottom of the unit. Like another reviewer, I found the electronic set up instruction a bit confusing, although managed it mostly by trial and error. Too early to say how good this will be long term but pleased so far. Thinking of buying another for our bedroom. UPDATE The unit has now failed, believed to be the control unit as it is not switching off when it reaches the set temperature. The control unit only has a two year warranty now expired. I have been quoted £303 by a local electrician to replace the control unit, but will this fail in three or four years too? Very disappointed with my radiator, proving to be a waste of money.

Fireclay Electric Heating Radiator AF05
Fireclay Electric Heating Radiator AF05,purchased 2 of these last November one for downstairs and one for upstairs and must say these radiators to me they are superior to those oil filled radiators.I don't have to breath in that suffocating dry air which you get with oil filled radiators and open grill fires, the thermostat is so accurate it keeps the temperature as required.I got mine with castors and preferred the analogue knob thermostat which is more user friendly, that's my personal opinion. The castors allow me to move the radiator to whichever room needs heating rather than heat the whole house with GCH.Each radiator is 45kg so not possible to lift it up the stair easily,if finances allow better to have one on each floor.UKenergystore, did 2 man delivery job.Expensive but their efficient thermostatic temperature control is a money saver on my heating bills and would highly recommend to any pensioner who has to spend long winter days at home.A gas fire probably costs more to run than this radiator, correct me if Iam wrong.

great alternative when off grid
got the wrong size initially so this is our second (got the wrong model when I phoned up so the builder put reinforcement for a different size). Overall really pleased with this, the auto function took a while to figure out, even the electrician was scratching his head. Figured it out eventually, you have to press the right hand bottom button a few times to activate.

Faulty
Ordered for holiday let. Right hand third of radiator doesn't get hot. There's obviously a fault in the circuit. The two thirds of it that do get hot are really hot and the controls seem very easy to use. I will report again once I've made representations to Amazon/Electrorad Aeroflow. It is very inconvenient if I have to send the old one back as I will have to get the electrician who fitted it to come back and remove it from the wall (who pays for that?).
