Pretty at first - now trash
I purchased the large and small sizes of this rugh for my new Master bath. I was thrilled when they arrived - they are so pretty and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, a large amount of teal lint came off on a daily basis and my bathroom floor was continually covered in it. So, I thought I would wash them to remove the excess lint. Cold gentle wash, no dryer. It's a little hard to see in the pics but the teal lint now covers the entire white section of each rug so it's now a light, uneven teal throughout. Looks horrible. I trashed them this morning. So sad.

It sheds LOTS of material when washed/dried
I like that they are colorful, and fun. They brighten up the bath. Downside is that they shed massive amounts of material when washed and dried. We're not talking some small amount of shedding either. In the washer alone I scraped out 4 huge hand fulls of blue fuzz off the sides of the tub probably 2 pounds of wet fabric. The dryer lint screen had to be cleaned out 4 times, and each time it was almost an inch thick of lint, covering the entire pull out lint screen, while drying after the initial washing. They still look great, and would buy again. I would just take them to a laundry mat for the first couple washes. Seriously I am finding blue fuzz on other fabrics that have been laundered since the rugs.

Unusual shape and pattern
I've bought two aqua and one orange set of rugs because I really like the look and artsy style of these.Mind you, they will shed in the washer/dryer a bit when first washing them and the color from my first set of aqua got a bit faded but I don't mind because it still looks like it's the shade it should be - doesn't look beat up or anything.Course I use one in front of the sink and the smaller one in front of the commode. My friend told me it's considered somewhat tacky to put a rug in front of the toilet - well, you can be high class but I prefer to have a little warmth under my feet, thank you very much.
