A terrific unit at a great price point.
This is a great unit. It responds quickly and links up without issues.I use it with my iPhone in a Classic car, and I have a Bluetooth amplifier under the back seat. The simplicity of setup and installation as well as the ease of operation are big selling factors. The screen is clear, even in fairly bright light (no tint in my old car) and the touchscreen response is very good.I’d like to see more mount options and a bigger screen size in another iteration. All in all, for the price I don’t think there’s a better option. And tech support is excellent. They respond quickly and helped me to change that startup/boot screen, and followed up to make sure I was successful in doing what they recommended.

This is an amazing product to add CarPlay to any vehicle!!!
I got this screen to add Apple CarPlay to my 2016 Kia Soul after I rented a vehicle with CarPlay. It's kinda amazing, your phone just works through a screen on the dash, your maps a there, your podcasts are there, your music is there, it's all you could ever ask for.I looked at a lot of devices, and read a bunch of reviews, this one was the top in price point and customer reviews, so I took a chance. I was well rewarded for taking that chance. This device is amazing! It connected to my phone in a few seconds, and it automatically connects every time I get in the car. If I want to, I can have the phone connected to the screen and still playing and charging via USB cable through the stereo. Maps, music and podcasts were just seamlessly integrated into this device. The suction cup mounting bracket is solid and holds great as long as you tighten up all the axises. It is rock solid. I drove 300 miles this weekend listening to music and podcasts just to play with my new toy and the mounting bracket never gave any problem.Connecting the device to the car with the 3.5mm AUX cable, because FM transmission is so last century and never really worked well in populated areas, was super easy. This would be one of my two almost complaints about this product. It needs a ground loop isolator, as anything does, if you plug the stereo, speakers and CarPlay tablet into the same circuit, you need that, and they should have included one in the AUX cable. It's a simple $6 product to get on Amazon. Depending on your vehicles electrical system, you could get some extra noise if you don't have one. I understand electronics, so I just ordered one with the tablet and put it inline. Still, it should be built into the cable, it would make it cleaner. My other almost complaint is that the cigarette lighter charging cable is ten feet long and does not have a USB plug for the cable. So my tablet is 18" from my cigarette lighter, but I have an extra eight feet of cable to do something with. I would much prefer if I could have gotten a shorter USB cable and plugged it into the charger. You can see in the pictures that there is way too much cable, but I'm going to fix that by hardwiring an aux and USB power just below where I mounted the device in the next few weeks. Easy enough to do if you can operate a soldering iron and can take some trim off your dashboard.Still, those two things are not really complaints, they are just things that would be nice product enhancements. All around, this CarPlay tablet is wonderful, and for $99, it is a great way to make your vehicle CarPlay enabled with no headaches. If you have an iPhone and a vehicle without CarPlay, you really want this in your life, it is AWESOME!!! Seriously, buy this product.

Want to add car play without attracting thieves & keeping your current sound setup? Look no further
The media could not be loaded. I recently picked up a 1996 Miata and desperately wanted to add car play. The problem was twofold. First, it had a very new head unit that I didn't want to replace as it sounded great and airplay head units would have been a big waste of money on a car that demands it elsewhere. The second is that I didn't want to attract thieves. A nice double-din head unit and a soft convertible top is a terrible mix, especially in my area. Thus began the search that led me here. This seemed to check all the boxes; affordable, car play, mountable while being easy to stash away out of sight in a locked glovebox and it lets me use my preexisting sound system. I bought it without high expectations and have been blown away. The dash mount is strong and has held up even to my over-enthusiastic driving. Car Play was super easy to set up with my iPhone and the screen gets bright enough to be clearly visible even with the sun out and the top down. I love that it has an adjustable dimming mode so I can have it super bright during the day without having to fiddle with it when I go to drive it at night. A feature I hadn't thought about that could definitely make or break a setup like this. The screen is high enough resolution to where maps are very legible even in the split screen mode where it only takes up part of the screen. My phone has no trouble connecting to the unit and still playing sound over the head unit all wirelessly. I haven't tried the included suction cup mount as the dash one works perfectly for my setup but if it is anything like the dash mount it should hold up great. I love how easy it is to slide in and out of the mount in mere seconds so I can safely stash it out of sight when I'm parking. The only minor downside for me is the power cable it comes with is super long. My setup has it very close to the outlet so I need only a fraction of the length. I'm sure other setups would greatly appreciate the long power cord and it's definitely better to be longer than you need versus shorter. Plus since it powers over USB C I can always look for a shorter cable to work better for my situation. If you want to add car play in a similar fashion to your vehicle I can highly recommend this. I will be getting one for my mom for Christmas as she is still using an ancient Garmin because she hasn't wanted to replace the factory head unit in her newer Subaru. She will be thrilled to have a better option
