Enjoy both of them when they worked properly =(
I love this Absolute AWESOME!!!!*PROSWorks Like a Champ*CONSWell Setting them up you just got to have a lot of Patience. =D**UPDATE** 10/14/2018 Both were working fine and dandy since till One of them started having issues with connecting with the wifi had to reset many times, NOW Guess what happens now, when that one that's having issues turns on, acts like it's got some short in it, makes the light turn on for a spit sec then back off, kinda scared to leave it plugged in now. Dropping it from 4 to 1 Star, No Warranty that I can find whatsoever :/

Awsome Is all I can say
I use it for an outdoor fountain then in the winter I plugged all my xmas flood lights to it and control it from my cell phone. The app is pretty flawless and I am very happy with the product. It is covered overhead, but plugged on an outside outlet. I also have it on some random lamps indoors. Intend to buy a few switches if can find them.

Maybe 2.5 stars - abysmal installation instructions, outlet hog, better options may be out there
My background: native English speaker, average or better tech skills, good (corrected) vision. Android user for the phone app I bought this two-pack to control devices using an Amazon Echo. The outlets feel solid and appear to be well made. There's a multi-fold strip of instructions inside the box that requires a magnifying glass to read the normal text. Five smaller graphic illustrations appear as well; they are so tiny that that I was unable to read them even using the little fisheye super-magnifier (I don't know what else to call it) that's embedded within my regular magnifying glass.Once you get your magnifying glass cranked up, you'll find the instructions are written in old-style Chingrish. It brought back memories of those early bargain VCRs. I was able to infer my way through it well enough to get the preliminaries done: download and install the "Smart Life" app from Google Play, create a new Smart Life account (my mobile number is my username/account name and I chose my own password). Once I did that, a validation key was texted to my mobile phone. I entered that key into the Smart Life app and my account was all set up. I also had to tell the app which of my home networks I was using and provide the password to that network. No issues, smooth as glass, very quick responses during this process.NOTE: these outlets are like other devices in that they only recognize 2.4GHz networks. I have a dual band router so I have a 2.4 network and a 5.0 network. Before starting, I disconnected my phone from the 5.0 network where it normally lives and connected it to the 2.4. Dxpow doesn't say to do that, but I've heard of setup issues with similar devices if the phone's not on the same network as the device. No idea if Dxpow has such issues but I did it anyway. After setup, I went back to the 5.0 and everything still worked fine.OK, back to setup. Next, you have to let the Smart Life app on your phone search for and find one of the outlets. This wasn't hard to figure out and the first outlet was found and linked up quickly. At this point you can control the outlet using the Smart Life phone app. The first thing to do is to rename the device from the default to something you want Alexa to recognize when you say it. I wanted the first outlet to turn my white noise generator on and off, so I changed its name in the phone app to "snoozer" which is what I call that thing. Then it's on to interfacing with Alexa. Here's a PSA for you: steps 1 through 4 are meant to be instructions on installing a new Echo device. They have nothing to do with the Dxpow outlet or the Smart Life app on your phone. Skip ahead to "Enable Our Skill In Alexa App."In this part of setup, you use the Alexa app on your phone. You search for a Skill named "Smart Life" and then add/enable it. You're prompted to enter your username (that's your mobile phone number) and the password you chose when you set up your Smart Life account, back there when you downloaded and installed the Smart Life app on your phone and registered it. NOT any Amazon or Echo related passwords. It appears that in this step you're telling Alexa the credentials needed to get into your Smart Life account, which can control the outlet. The next step is also done within the Alexa app (or by voice; I used the app on my phone). I told Alexa to find new devices and in a bit the new outlet named "snoozer" showed up. I plugged my white noise generator into it and said "Alexa, turn on snoozer" and BANG - it worked. So did "Alexa, turn off snoozer." Sweet. Now for the second outlet. With the preliminaries all done this should have been a snap, but not quite. I plugged the outlet into power, started the Smart Life app on my phone and told it to add a device. It couldn't find it. I re-read the instructions and retried; Smart Life still couldn't find it. I force-stopped the Smart Life app and unplugged the outlet for a minute, then plugged the outlet back in and leaned on the power button for a while to make sure it was in factory-new state. When I restarted Smart Life, that second outlet was there, without having gotten successfully though the discovery, and it worked from the phone app. So I renamed it to "whatever" inside Smart Life. Connecting to Alexa went well and it worked with Alexa too when I said "Alexa, turn on whatever." So eventually, I got them both working.I may return these and wouldn't buy them again. The lame instructions are survivable and the initial setup tedium is probably nothing unusual. But these are outlet hogs, making the 2nd outlet on your standard 2-out wall plate un-usable. Had I shopped around more I'd have seen that there are competitors that don't hog an extra outlet, that promise compatibility with both Echo and Google Home (flexibility is good), and that cost less (also good). These Dxpows are okay, but only okay.

Product is Junk Don't Buy
Though I was getting a deal, product doesn't stay on line with Alexa, always having to reconfigure, not worth the money even if it was free, buyer beware!
