Nice Bed for the Price
My son was coming home from college and I wanted to update his room to be more adult. He needed the length of a twinXL so that narrowed down my search. Initially I was thinking of a shelf headboard with charging station, but couldn't find anything I liked. So I settled for a metal bed. The room is small, so under the bed storage was a necessity. I had three metal frame twinXL beds in my cart and finally settled on this one. This one had more under the bed clearance than the other two, and looked less turn of the century sanatarium than did the others. The bed was easy to put together, really easy for me since my husband did it. He said it was simple and well labeled. He said it was very clear and everything was explained in easy steps. It looks good. My only issue is that the legs look very "clinical". There is no foot or any type of nice end to them. It's just a metal legs on the floor. Sheets and blankets and pillows really warm up this bed, so have those in mind as you envision it in your home. Otherwise it looks pretty stark on it's own.The mattress surface is crossbars. That didn't seem like enough support for me, so I ordered a bunkie board to lay on top. I ordered a ten inch mattress to go on top of that. The footboard is high enough to keep the mattress in the frame, even with the bunkie board. My son has slept well. No issues. No squeaking or shifting. It's sturdy. There was enough clearance underneath to slide a rolling bin under there for dirty clothes, and a small wastebasket. Neither are being used, but I tried. For what it's worth, before my son came home, our 70 pound lab liked sleeping on this bed. With her bounding on and off of it, the mattress did shift side to side. That could be more because of the bunkie board than the bed itself, I'm not sure, however, if you are getting this for little kids that bounce on the bed, the mattress might shift.Overall I am very pleased with this bed. It is worth the price.

Easy to put together, just a lot of pieces
My husband and I were able to put this bed together easily. There were a lot of pieces but the instructions and labeling of the parts made it easy to navigate. This bed frame is solid! And it doesn't make noises when my kids are piling on it. It's easy to move when I want to move it away from the wall to make it, but it's not so light weight that it gives in quality. There is space under the bed if you want to short bins or totes. Overall this bed frame is perfect for what I needed and at a great price!

Fun to assemble, cute bed frame
This is a lovely bed frame for the price. Since this is a guest bed, budget was a pretty significant priority for us, and this frame fit the brief. My husband and I used the assembly as an opportunity for a little date, but it wouldn't have been bad to put together on my own. You just have to remember how to eat an elephant sandwich: one bite at a time. I love putting together flat pack furniture, so I found this fun.Once assembled, it's sturdy and square, but it's a little loud because the slats are actually rollers and they're just sitting loose in their cradles. Once we get the mattress on, if I find it as loud as I fear I will, I plan to attach some neoprene or foam tape along touch points. Seems a little chintzy that the frame didn't come with these, but at the price I paid, I don't really mind the investment in a roll of tape.

Easy to assemble
This bed was easy to assemble, looks really nice in the room. A perfect upgrade from twin beds for a proper guest room. The frame is sturdy and had good clearance for a few decorative baskets for under bed storage.

Too many pieces
A lot of the reviews state that this bedframe is easy to put together. My son and I open the package and there were so many pieces and so many screws. We tried for about 20 minutes and decided to put it back in the box and send it back. We personally did not think it was easy to put together at all to time consuming.
