Suitable only for a very small dog, certainly not for a dog that likes to sit up and look out of the window. My dog is smallish and even she's too big for it. Maybe more suitable for a rabbit !

Good value and keeps the dog secure in the back seat. It would be even better for me if I could reduce the length of the strap more than is allowed.

My dog is small and suitable for the belt. But it is too tight for her maybe because she didn' t like it (so sad). Perhaps will be better after few times washing.

Good value dog car seat belt and keeps the dog secure on the back seat.I recommend this for small dogs as the lead doesn't extend very far.

Got this for our ratshi (rat terrier shihtzu mix) as he loves car rides. The downside is he likes to climb all over in the car, including your lap. This completely kept him from doing that. He sat happily in the front seat after he realized he couldn't go any further than the front seat. Happy pup!The quality of this is pretty nice too. The leash material seems pretty strong, the buckle had no issues clicking into the seat buckle in my car. The latch on it clipped nicely onto the harness on my pup. He tried yanking on it a few times when I was walking around the car to get in after buckling him in. It held him without any issues. It's also adjustable enough to be short enough to keep him from reaching the window but can be adjusted long enough that he could if I wanted to. And the price on it beats any others out there!

I received this safety belt just in time for a cross-country trip. In the past we had put him in a small pet carrier, and strapped that in, but we didn't want to subject him to that on a long three day trip. I had been worried about what would happen to our little ShihTzu if we had to slam on the brakes, or worse. We bought a harness to use with this, rather than a collar, and our little guy was comfy as could be on top of his pillow and blanket - he had the freedom to move around a bit, yet would not go flying if we had to brake quickly. ***Please note: our car has the child safety belts (the kind that inflate in case of accident) in the back seat (except for the center one). The buckle did not fit in the special child safety end, but worked just fine in the center, 'regular' one.Very pleased with this purchase.

I've just gotten through using in for my travels to and from California. My dog was so excited that she had an accident while the cover was in place protecting my leather seats. There was absolutely no soak through and with a clean up on the road and a in depth cleaning at my destination, it accomplished the task of 100% seat protection. Further the dirt that she tracked in did not make it through to the seats. This was a very good purchase for me. I am pleased. The top was very comfortable and soft as well.

This product is a life saver. My dog is a mama's girl and likes to ride in the car as close to me as possible.... this clearly presents a problem as a 45 lbs dog. She also loves having the windows down, but she is a jump risk. This "seat belt" solves both of these problems. She is able to stand, sit, lay and move around but unable to leave her designated seat. I highly recommend this product to keep your dog, and yourself safe in the car.

My 93# Golden has given me fits when I take him to the vet. He constantly tries to get in my lap. Very dangerous! I purchased a cage to separate the front from the back seat, but even with the help of all my family members we could not put it together, let alone put in my car. This safety harness has worked wonders when transporting Bandit, and has proved to be very safe. He now rests his head on my shoulder when with me in the car. :)
