I got these for my simple CNC machine project. I don't have the equipment for an accurate 3D scan of a small item. If I secure it to the CNC bed in a repeatable way I can progressively remove layers of .2 mm and use a flatbed scanner to get the slices. It's a lot of time consuming work, requires I move the item for every layer, but I will have an accurate model when I'm finished. I would like to build a machine that automates this, but I'm still thinking about how to mechanically implement the scanning.

Extrusions are cut pretty precise, but the packaging is questionable choice. It was just in a cardboard tube to hold it all together, rubber plug ends, and taped up all around. There was no protective wrap around the parts, so to those who buy, be aware if you have crappy drivers, they could end up bent.

These aluminum excursions are very well finished and come individually protected by adhesive wrap on all sides. The dimensions and sizing is true to order and they appear to be very high quality for the price. I would recommend again.

Rails are fine, just didnt come with advertiseed hardware

Comes packaged in a heavy duty cardboard box. Extrusions are further protected by plastic film. There was quite a bit of filings/debris stuck to the inside of the film. This concerned me at first, but it gets removed easily with the film. There were no considerable scratches/dings on the extrusions and they are all straight. Aside from that, the cuts are clean and square; the lengths are consistent and spot-on at 1m. Came with 10 L-brackets and associated grubs. Not much more I can think to mention. Seems like a decent quality product.

These European style 2040 aluminum extrusions came packaged with protective plastic on all sides to prevent damaging the black finish.The rails are all cut exactly to length, with clean and straight ends. There are no burrs or other defects on the ends.I am planning to use these with 3d printed TPU riser feet on the bottom, as the main axis on a CNC type machine. When vertically oriented, they should accommodate nicely a bracket with rollers on the top and bottom.

I'm new to this type of rail, so ordered some to play around with it. The aluminum is really heavy duty, and there is a nice anodized finish that appears pretty rugged. Can't do a whole lot with 2 rails, but I'm inspired to buy some more and build things with it!

These extrusions seem to be good quality. The black finish was consistent across the extrusions. They included a bag with a hex wrench and some color matched fasteners.
