Wiltshire Staysharp Kitchen Scissors, Stainless Steel Sharp Blade with Sharpener, Kitchen Shears with self Sharpening System (Colour: Black, Blue)

Many years ago bought in this country, Wiltshire stay sharp knives x 2 and a pair of small, Wiltshire stay sharp scissors came with them. They are all good and still used.Wanted a large general purpose stay sharp pair and found them now on Amazon as they come from Australia!Just as I wanted and very quick delivery as coming from the other side of the world and came well before their expected delivery time. Great self sharpening scissors and know I will use them all the time. Well worth the money. Wish they sold them in this country again.

Good quality and they stay sharp when you put them back in the sheath

Even though these scissors are sold for food preparation I use them for cutting fabric when I am dressmaking. The scissors are very comfortable to use and have excellent sharp blades, but difficult to remove scissors from scabbard - not as easy as my first pair of Staysharp scissors which I originally purchased over 25 years ago.

I've been after a pair of scissors like this for 30 odd years. I had a pair of these scissors when I lived on a sheep station in Western Australia. I used them for sewing through to cutting up meat. I love them SO much. I really should get out more.

Sturdy strong Sissons...brilliant for every day use...I want to buy some more...

I've had a pair of Wiltshire scissors in a sharpening scabbard for many years and they are still working fine. I only ordered these so that I could keep a pair upstairs, They are nothing like the quality of my original pair. It's really hard to extract them from the scabbard and the first time I did it, the piece of plastic that covers one side of the bolt (that holds the scissors together) flew off. The next time I took them out, the plastic at the top of the scabbard came off - and this now happens most of the time.. They're very shoddily made, especially the scabbard, and I don't expect them to last very long.
