Little Friends Hamberley All Metal Cage

Despite hopeless instructions, it’s quick and simple to construct, it took me 20 minutes. My cage appeared to have suffered slightly in transit, however nothing that wasn’t easily bent back into shape. It’s big, really big, which is exactly what I was looking for. My budgies absolutely love being able to actually properly fly around it! Also, it’s very easy to clean, the plastic slide out under tray is a boon. The large front, and 2 small side doors make feeding etc very convenient. Overall I’m very pleased with this cage, I say cage, it’s more like an indoor aviary, and being on casters, a good job too as it’s no lightweight, but that’s a good thing, it feels like it will last forever, very sturdy and stable, it’s easy to wheel outside in the sunshine. I highly recommend this pet mansion, and although I’ve seen similar sized cages £40 cheaper elsewhere, they are nowhere near as good as this one in my opinion. 👍🏻 I’ve attached a pic of old v new for size comparison.

Loved this product, was super easy to assemble (although took some time to figure out the instructions). Super big, very sturdy, wrought iron (no toxic metals for my babies to chew on anymore)! Love the ability to remove both the bottom tray and the wire to clean proper. It's a real palace for my budgie and my cockatiel. Love the secure door mechanism with the small bit of metal that holds it from closing shut accidentally and hurting my babies, same goes for the bottom trey - won't accidentally fall out even if you tilt it. Super comfortable with the bottom tray and the wheels, moves around easy, clean up takes so little time.Word of advice - put the bottom tray with the edges up, keeps objects inside from falling out when moving.The only minus was 2 of the screws didn't align 100%, but with some screwing in and a couple diy straps just for extra security it doesn't even bother me or my birds at all. Another little thing that the wire was dent in one place from travel, but these are very small prices to pay for something so big and, for the most part - quality.Now the only thing left is to make my little family a little larger ;))

I'll start by saying that although this is a flight cage I actually bought this for my 3 rats. Being females, they are very small and are good a squeezing through bars, luckily the narrow bars on this cage keep them safe and secure inside.The cage itself is huge! And very sturdy. The storage space underneath is great and the front door to the cage has a brilliant double lock system which really keeps the escape artists inside!Downsides to this cage? Mine arrived without the nuts and bolts. I had to estimate the sizes and spend £15 buying some from our DIY store. With a bit of elbow grease I managed it. The instructions that came with it are shocking. Basically just a photo of the cage and a list of the box contents.Not one to complain though, this cage is awesome. I'm pleased I bought it, even if it did cause some stress initially! Worth the money for sure.I will note that the floor of the cage is barred also, if you are planning on keeping rats, chins or degus in this its a good idea to have plenty of blankets to lay down to prevent bumble-foot!

The wheel on the stand frame arrived dodgy. After only two ways it snapped off leaving the cage either unsturdy or very awkward to move. I messaged the company four times, first time I was responded too but quickly dismissed despite sending photo evidence. After this, I have been blantantly ignored. Cage is fine, but don’t support this company.

I bought this cage for my 4 male rats after having loads of trouble with my PetPlanet cage and I am very impressed. I was a little hesitant at first as its targeted for birds but with the bottom grill easily removable and a little bit of DIY it is a perfect home for my boys. The only small issue I have is the small door ( which of course it is as it is for birds) makes it a little harder to access the entire cage but it is nothing major. Would definitely recommend!

This cage is fantastic for my two budgies n soon to be cockatiel. So much room ,easy to clean and having it on the wheels is so handy. It was also built very easy and quick and was a no brainer which is good because the instructions are awful lol

This cage is enormous. I won't use the stand because it makes it ridiculously gigantic. It's 'nice' to look at compared to other plastic cages and solid. Terrible instructions but self explanatory to put together. Only downside is the extra cost for shelves etc. Just filling it with lots of extras before my two rats arrive. There's enough space for about 8, so hopefully they'll enjoy the playing room.This was to replace a Liberta Nevada cage that arrived with broken legs and badly bent. Eventually got some good customer service from Amazon, unfortunately only after I finally lost my temper and asked to speak to a manager. They price matched this, but given this was only about £9 more than the Liberta, the difference in quality is huge. Great cage... lets hope the rats like it.
