However, its a bit habit forming as I have now I check everything once I start. The fridge, freezer, heaters, even my bath last night!This instrument seems to be well made and of good quality, simple to use and accurate with an excellent temp range and clear to see laser spot.I can switch easily from F to C with a simple button; it helps when making a metric and imperial recipes with different temp measurements.On the confectionary making that I do as a hobby, it seems to match my old Glass Thermometer, and my temperature controller which all have a supposed +/- 0.5 C resolution, so I was very happy with that.I was looking for an inexpensive, but accurate, digital thermometer to help me in the kitchen and around the house and I have definitely found it! Base on my own research and the many positive reviews, I believe that I made the right choice.

This is a point and press device and is very easy to use. If it wasn't so cheap I wouldn't be able to justify having it but it is and I can.I have used it to check the accuracy of household items like ovens, fridges, freezers etc. and have even found a fault with one freezer (I have 3) that needed looking at. Worth it for the small price.

It's important to check the temperature of various things within the household especially when you've got kids around to make sure things are not too hot or too cold. Instead of guessing, I can safeguard others by finding out the temperature before use.Since purchasing this, I've been impressed. The batteries seem to be of a good quality with plenty of life in them and the thermometer is in great working order and seems to pick up the temperature in all conditions.Also, the change you can have for the reading e.g. Celsius or Fahrenheit is useful as some people prefer one or the other and this means you can simply switch over to the one you're used to.Other things I haven't mentioned before is the lightweight feel of the thermometer. It's not bulky nor does it take up much room so this would be handy when travelling.As mentioned in the video, the light is very good to have as it can be difficult to read without and further, the laser is super to have which just adds to the quality.Great buy all round! Highly recommend!

100% Must have for reptile owners! In general though, a fantastic piece of kit at a great price. I saw a few around this price range and this one came with a free cooking thermometer. Did I want one or need one? Not at all but I love free stuff and you never know when it might come in handy. Nobody wants food poisoning at the end of the day.This piece of kit is accurate, reliable and easy to use. It's childsplay, so much so I feel like a kid with a new toy. I've probably checked the temperature of every inch of my house and the batteries are still going strong.

The device is accurate an comes with battery.If you are looking for this due to a viral outbreak. The skin temp when exposed to air will be lower than core temperature.aim for collars and armpits if you can mouth.but turn off Lazer if pointing at Face.
