Essential for PETG
If you, like me, have struggled with PETG not printing right I would buy one of these, I have bought many different brands of PETG filament which has cost me a lot of money. I then decided to research why the prints were so bad.MOISTURE IN THE FILAMENT, even with them being vacuum sealed. So I bought one of these and it has worked perfectly, just dry them overnight and they print SO MUCH better. It is extremely quiet so it won't disrupt you, I dry every roll of filament I buy now.I haven't used it while printing but there is a hole to do that.

Works.
The first one didn't work. Had failed oring in the pump. The second one works nicely. And keeps 'vacuum' for a few months now.

Good
It doesn’t really help to understand the temperature difference between the settings but it works.

Great idea, needs a bit of refining
The idea of this is great, its important to keep dust and moisture off your fillament to get the best prints, and this is the simplest and cheapest option.Pumping the air out is a bit of a workout, esspecialy the first time you get the kit and have lots of rolls to put away but it works. For anyone having issues with them loosing vaccume over time, you need to run your thumb over the blue dot you pump the air out of and make sure its properly stuck down after your done. I forgot to do it with one and that one lost its vaccume, the rest have been fine. The translation of the instructions was pretty bad and that bit was tricky to work out what it meant. As for refinement, my biggest issue with these is the shape, theyre a square bag intended for a round object, leaving a lot of extra at the corners to deal with, and these can be sharp, ive cut myself on similar in the past. I ended up pulling the bottom corners in on themselves before inserting the roll so when the air was pumped out, it left a smoother finish for storage. Obviously the zipper end cant be rounded off but the bottom end could be and that would really help with all the extra plastic. All in all a very good produce, just needs a bit of refining.

Dries even higher temp filaments like PA-CF
Can run for 18 hrs at a time and dries PA-CF.Only grumble is the bowden tube has a larger outer diameter to normal printing bowden tube so doesn't fit my existing fixings.

Noisy, vibration, doesn’t achieve heat mentioned in manual
This is a noisy fan in this box, and other say so too. Why buy a complete package to replace noisy parts… you may as well build your own if you’re gonna try make this thing good. I dislike this vibration resonance it is giving off, it’s almost worse than my S1 Pro printer lol.It takes forever to reach close to 50 degrees C even with a room temperature of 29 degrees C. But, you could say yet this could be your PLA only dryer, and that way you know you can’t melt it even if you left it in for a week by accident.I… really Hate the noise. And the manual suggests it could dry abs/petg in the 60s which is basically not true. I might return it.I have also tried Eibos single roll dryer and the door side panel on that is awful and the spring came apart, it is a nicer noise and heats hot, but it heats from the core out, so you really might melt your inner filament into a bound mess even at the ‘correct’ temperature.I’m not sure any of these single dryers are very great at all…

Work well
Seal is excellent and although the pumping takes a while it is a very high vacuum and easily distorts a part used plastic filament reel.

Absolute rubbish. Avoid
I had high hopes for this filament dryer. On paper, it should have been ok for drying routine filaments such as PLA, ABS, PETG etc. The specification looks really good - has a variety of sensors, has a desiccant hopper, says it can reach >50 degrees C, has an active fan.In practice, the package does not work. Why? Firstly, this system is only 12v - and in my opinion, there simply is not enough heating wattage to get this thing any where close to a temperature that would be useful for drying filament. As a comparison, I have a (modified) Sunlu dryer, where I have put in a fan. This is a 24v system, and as standard, the heating is also rubbish - but with an active fan, it transforms the dryer. So it's an easy comparison - my modified Sunly dryer vs this - both have active fans, both say they can get to 55 degrees C, the only real difference is that the Sunlu system is 24v, and the eSun is 12v - and the heating difference is massive - as well as the impact on drying filament.I sent mine back. For that, I'm very grateful for Amazon's no quibble return policy as this product is truly useless.

Alles bestens!!!
