Received today, built today, organized today!
Very fast shipping. Thanks to UPS delivery man for bringing the heavy box into the house for me! Kudos to the manufacturer for packaging so tight and strongly. I received a perfect unit, no damage and no missing pieces (in fact I have some "shims" left over). The Satin Bronze is very pretty! It did take me a bit of time to assemble this item as I did this by myself (another set of hands would've helped at times). I read all the reviews and knew what to look out for (thanks guys and gals), that saved me a lot of time I'm sure. I opened the item (with some effort) and carefully laid out all the pieces to make sure nothing was missing, then read the instructions. I had no major issues assembling. I had no trouble with the plastic "shims", I didn't even have to tape the shims, just be sure to pay attention to the "TOP" mark on them. I did have to redo the first tower because I forgot to put the part for the clothes bar on. sigh.My closet measures 59" wide (wall to wall), and I ordered this unit confident it would fit. Then a couple days after ordering it I realized I failed to take into account the 1/2" thick baseboard on both sides (so now I'm right at the 58" minimum required space). When I opened the package and saw the leveling feet, I thought oh no! Another 1/2" on both sides was going to be lost. But, all I could do was give it a try, and decided I'd use it in the garage if all else failed. I built the first tower, without the cantilever, and placed it in the bedroom closet and then put the cantilever on (I didn't know how to remove my sliding closet doors and I didn't want to mar my freshly painted closet walls). Then I built the 2nd tower and carried it to the closet and held its cantilever up to see if it was going to overlap... praying that it would fit. AND IT DID! Now it was just a matter of installing the clothes bar. Knowing how tight I was on space, I decided to put the parts that the rod is attached to backwards, so it encroaches a tiny bit into the shelf area vs the open area under the cantilever's..desperate to ensure the rod would fit. I did this on both towers. Glad to say, the bar fit without any issues :)All in all, I really like this unit, A LOT. I've already filled most of the shelves with items that were laying on the closet and bedroom floor. Gotta say that getting organized is a beautiful thing. Thank you Seville! I totally recommend this product 100%, I could not be happier!!!

After spending the better part of one Sunday re-organizing my clothes
The existing organization in my closet consisted of one wire rack with a hanger bar. After spending the better part of one Sunday re-organizing my clothes, the entire shelf collapsed. This started my search for a new and better organization structure. We rent, and given the seemingly weak walls we have, my husband suggested searching for a free standing unit instead. I look at A LOT of options and settled on the Seville Expandable, and I cannot say enough good things about this system. It arrives in a tall but thin box weighing about 50 lbs. The bars and shelves were all well packed and assembly was really easy. I depended on my husband's help to get the base started as it was a little cumbersome to hold 4 poles upright while getting the first shelf on. It's totally doable for one person to fully assemble alone, but easier/quicker going if you have someone to help get that foundation started. From unpacking the box to full set up, this took me about 20 minutes working at relatively leisurely pace. Because of size and shape of my closet, I chose to assemble both shelving towers, then place in closet and attach the hanger bars. We used the included straps to attach to the wall for further anchor and this thing is sturdy for sure. One thing to note regarding color -- I chose to go with the bronze, which is a great color. However the hanger bar will be silver no matter what color you get. Which makes sense, as the hangers need to easily slide on it, and having the painted coating on it would just wear away after some time. If I had realized this prior I probably would have just gotten the silver unit as the color was a bit cheaper and this is going inside a closet and will not be seen much anyway. But I have no regrets on buying this and I'm amazed at how much I am able to fit on it, and how much I love my closet now.

Well made!
I bought this to move my clothes from a closet during a remodeling project. I put it together in less than an hour and it was such a present surprise. It is sturdy and easy to assemble, but you must do both sides, alternating as you go up. Plan where you want the hanging bars because they need to be at least between the correct shelves or you'll have to take out the clips and start again. The clips hold together well and the notches in the bars and the measured double notches make it easy to keep them level. I used some plastic bins I got a few years ago and they fit snugly, so I was careful to have space above to get my hand in without trouble. The only negative is that the hanging bars are closer together than I would like for 2 rows of clothes. My husbands shirts will cover the lower bar - but it needs that height to keep his slacks off the floor. His present closet actually has the top bar too high for me to reach. We will make it work temporarily till the remodeling is done, then I'll move it to my closet as it will work fine for my clothes.I like that the stand has substantial leveling feet.I have it at the smallest setting. You (I) could make it even smaller by using only one of the top shelves and placing the hanging bar bracket on the outer bars on one side. You only have to use a top shelf and a bottom one, so the options for re-configuring this are wonderful.
