Webster: Season 1

Children. I'd ordered this season 1 and while we were waiting for it to arrive, I started watching it on Youtube with my son. I used to think this was a family oriented sitcom, but now find it to be more adults than children. Some of the story lines are just not entertainment. But rather....too techie for my money. I don't like the idea of "children's shows" teaching my children what I feel is my responsibility. Some of the stories were OK, but too many had material that was not pure entertainment. Too many messages for young children in my opinion. My son was troubled by several of the story lines. So when the video arrived in the mail, I returned it, and purchased My Three Sons instead. A really good, well written, true Family Show. Can't wait for more of those to be put out on DVD. My whole family love them and laughed through each episode. Good clean, Entertainment.

Webster is amongst my favorite 80's sitcoms. At one time, there were numerous 'family' sitcoms suitable for parents and their children to watch.This is an excellent series with many values instilled in the storylines. So, if you're a fan of the series...revisit it and if you've never seen it...introduce it to your family today!Love has nothing to do with race...as this show so openly demonstrates. It shall bring to mind a similar series, 'Diff'rent Strokes'...but Webster has built a legacy of it's own.Revisit this classic series and enjoy it's simple humor.As well, there was a time when tv shows had an opening and closing sequence and theme song. This is a very good one!There are no television shows on television now that can hold a candle to this one and many of the old ones of years past. Highly Recommended!

Webster is so adorable, and I love that the episodes are clean and funny. You will often see little moral lessons in them, and they teach wholesome values! I haven't seen a kid on television who is as adorable to watch as Webster!! I'm so glad Amazon brings these classics to Instant Video. I've already purchased Season One and Two, and would have purchased Three and Four if they were available on Instant Video. You don't see this kind of quality TV much today. I miss the old comedy classics. :o)

Love this show. Lots of good moral lessons. Some episodes have a little too much adult romance (no nudity or anything, but just not what I want my elementary-age son watching), but most are good family fun. My son loves Webster and is learning some important lessons.

I Have a 9,6,5, and 2 year old who all enjoy this show. Mostly the 5 and 2 year old ask to see it repeated constantly. I wish they would offer Season 2 soon. This is an adorable show for any young child. It offers some great lessons to be learned like what to do if a parent is late picking you up from school. Lots of great tips and information. Please come out with Season 2 soon, we need it bad!!!!

Simply put..This is one of the greatest tv shows I grew up watching! I always loved watching some webster and still do to this day! Brings back some good memories of some of the best shows that aired when I was younger especially compared to todays tv

This is the pilot episode that explains how the Popadopolis' gain custody of Webster... The back story is hard and yet the actors including Webster himself pulls out laugh after clean family friendly laugh. Makes this very worth watching.
