I love the fact I can take food stored in this dish, with it's tight fitting lid, straight from the icy cold 'fridge', or freezer & put it straight into the microwave for a re-heat, without worry about one of my other bowls possibly cracking with such a drastic temperature change.... no such worry with this handy food prep, serving or food storage bowl & lid. I have even cut hot meat items, with a sharp knife, while inside this bowl, as part of my dinner. Sooo versatile !!

I didn't even think they could exist! It's especially useful for us because we do not have any working sinks right now, and have to wash all of our dishes in the shower. We're in the habit of using disposable plates, silverware, and cups already, but you know how bowls are. The ones you can get in the store that aren't supposed to be reusable are the most shallow, flimsy things that barely hold a cup of soup, let alone letting you eat a bowl of cereal. What we wanted was a plastic bowl, one that was deep enough for cereal. These focus more on square space rather than depth, but they're definitely deeper than store disposable bowls, and definitely strong enough that you could wash them if you so wished. Plus the lids are tight enough to use for soups and stuff.Pricing is good. At 50 per $17, that's approximately 34 cents per bowl. That's really good! I get my water included with my rent, but if you pay for utilities, the price of the water combined with the time it takes to wash the thing is about the cost of the bowl itself. So being able to just throw it away gives you that time back in terms of productivity.So me at home, I eat cereal but then washing it is a pain, so I just toss it. If I do feel like having initiative I can go out of my way to wash it but usually not. Or I can put dry cereal in there, put a lid on it, take it to work in my bag, eat cereal there. I eat cereal at work! How else can you do that unless you find a way to have all the components there beforehand? It seems silly I know, but it's something I've never been able to do for really stupid reasons in the past.

I originally purchased these to help me prep my meals for the week. I was so happy with them I started using them to prep meals for older family members. Since they can be frozen, microwaved and put in the dish washer they worked great for preping meals for older family member. The lids go on and come off easy. I do baking and breakfast prep for some people too. These worked great for things like energy bites. People loved these containers so much they made sure to bring them back to me when I was replenishing their preped snacks.

They are durable, do not leak, and wash great on the upper rack of the dishwasher .I take my lunch in them.

Je mets des soupes dans ces récipients mais je bouche le trou avec un autocollant. Pouvez-vous me dire à quoi sert ce trou sur le couvercle s.v.p. ?

Do not get these. They were all cracked / chipped. Returning them.
