Poor quality control on the newest style of dice, but great design improvements otherwise.
This is a review for the new multicolored metal dice for 2019.I own many sets of metal dice. First off, there are a lot of things I love in these dice. The rounded corners on the d4's and d6's and d8's are really nice for rolling compared to the earlier styles with sharper corners, and the designs are gorgeous. I love this new design overall, and the multiple contrasting colors on each die are really visually pleasing. I think this mold is particularly nice for functionality and looks. However, there are some serious issues with their production process here. Firstly, several of the dice aren't quite numbered in the "standard" order around the various faces, but I can live with this (still annoying). But more importantly, the d4's in both sets I bought were numbered totally wrong, with most dice showing the same number on 2 sides of a die while the third side showed a different, incorrect number. This has something to do with the way the dice are colored. For instance, when rolling a d4, 2 sides of the die report the roll as a 3 while the last side says it's a 2. This is totally confusing, and while they roll better, they are not worth the hassle of deciphering after rolling them.I didn't notice this until in the middle of dm'ing my last d&d session and a player started arguing with me about a roll's result. Turns out we were both right, only looking at different sides of the die. I was very annoyed that my new awesome dice which roll great are basically useless. I really hope the manufacturer gets this issue fixed, as it doesn't seem to be a problem with earlier styles.Sadly, I would not recommend these for now, regardless of the design improvements, unless you plan to discard the d4's. If this issue were fixed, they would be my absolute favorite metal dice sets.

D4 Number Alignment Issue / Misprint (Otherwise Great)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. To start out, I absolutely love how the dice look. I love the weight, durability, and how easy it was to figure out that I wanted these bad boys. Unfortunately, while playing dnd I had to roll a d4 and noticed that the number alignment is messed up. Instead of the points sides showing me a 1,2,3 or 4, they each showed something different. I wanted to see if this was the case in the images provided by you guys, and after a quick glance it was. This news leaves me in a predicament. On one hand, If there was close examination of the images on my end, I would have known not to buy them. On the other hand as a seller you should not give your target audience(s) incomplete or "mismanufactured" product. These dice in themselves are pretty great in quality, this is just my only quarrel with them. I will not be using them anymore. If there is anything you guys would be able to do for me I would appreciate it, but of course, at the end I did buy dice that have a messed up d4 with images of the product being shown. Thank you.

Critical Hit
Love the dice. They came individually bagged in little plastic baggies to prevent any rubbing during transit, came packed in a decent sized velvet drawstring bag and then that bag is inside a larger plastic bag. The dice are definitely heavy and require a little tweaking to your rolling. Gone are the days of simply dropping your dice and watching it bounce until it lands on a number. These will work well in dice towers or with a dice rolling tray. With them being heavy and metal, watch what surfaces you do roll them on...avoid scratching your DM's nice kitchen table by using a rolling tray (sold separately). There are some minor blemishes and tool marks on the dice, but honestly I didn't expect them to be completely flawless. Barely noticeable unless you are holding a single dice and studying each face. What every DM needs to set themselves apart from the players. Or just a player "moving up" in the dice society. These will probably be the only dice I will ever use again. I assume that with them being solid metal there shouldn't be any issues with bubbles or gas pockets like plastic dice are plagued with...but since they are metal I can't use the typical testing methods of "floating the dice in salt water" to check...for obvious reasons.Would by again (another set for a friend or family member)!

Rolled the D6 a lot, kept landing on a 4 FAR more then its 1/6th chance. I would said more of a 50% chance of 4s on my D6

my favorite dice
I bought several pairs of metal dice to replace all my old plastic ones. I have a set that glows in the dark, some shiny rainbow colored dice, and some dwarven dice that are really beautiful. But the nice thing about these is that the surface is very comfortable in your hands and seems relatively durable for more frequent use. The surface is dboth durable and seems like it can absorb small scratches without damaging look. Highly recommend.

not 100% same as picture
The dice look nice, seem well constructed... but these are not the same as the picture. The picture seems to have a sparkle, these are just a navy blue. That being said, never too many dice so I'm not sending them back. Just be aware... no sparkles.

The d4 is made incorrectly :(
I wish I could rate these higher because they really are well-made, very good looking dice. There's one huge problem however. The d4 is not made correctly and therefore cannot be rolled. The adjacent numbers are not lined up, so the dice can't be read the same on all sides. I'm extremely disappointed and I don't know if anyone else has had this problem? I have other d4 so I could technically keep these and roll a different one, but it's a bummer that I won't be able to roll all from the same dice set.Update: I wish I had read other reviews and seen that this is a common problem on two of the sixteen coloured dice sets. Also the misprint is IN THE PHOTO! How silly. There is one other dice set that has this misprint, one of the blue ones. Double-check to see it's not the one you're buying.

Hefty High Rollers
Pros:* Nice black velvet dice bag (colour is darker/richer than my photo, as the camera had the flash on)* Dice came individually packaged to avoid shipping damage* Dice were all in good condition, no damage /chips / flaws* Dice are well weighted (124 g total, see picture) and have a very nice heft to them* There is a feeling of power when tossing these in your hand -> they are so well weighted and balanced that they feel like warrior dice* The d6 has rounded corners for smoother rolling* Contrast is bright/ numbers are large / easy to pick out roll value without hassle* After biased self-testing, the dice don't seem to have any biases and produce a fairly random distribution.Cons* Everyone else wanted to use them over their resin dice* The "It's COVIDS, don't touch my dice" rule was hard to enforce* Inaugural roll: the all important first roll of the d20 was done to much fanfare in front of peers... Nice heft, smooth roll, loud noise, d20 rolls... a 1. Not a good omen. :)* These can seriously break something, or dent something. I love it.*

Not as matte as in the Pictures
The rose gold dice in the advertised pictures look a lot more matte than in real life. They're actually very shiny and reflective. This was bought as a gift for my sister, so I'm just worried that she'll have a hard time reading the numbers on the die with it being so reflective. Especially in a dim lit area or simply looking at it from a certain angle. I'm kind of worried I somehow got the wrong Rose Gold Dice Set?Other than that, they came secured in their own little ziplock bag in the black pouch. They feel nice and heavy.I would have given this product 5 stars if the product actually looked like the advertised product.

Solid dice, slight imperfections.
There are unevenness to the coat of paint, some small blemishes but man are these satisfying. My d4 does not have any of the deficts other customers have indicated. Overall I'm pretty satisfied, but I will say the price is a bit high ($25cad) compared to some of the other metal dice on amazon. But I'm quite pleased with them regardless. Gonna use these as dice for my players to use their inspiration with. ^^

Good value if you want to upgrade to metal.
Love the weight and feel vs. the standard plastic dice. Numbers are clearly visible. Good value for the money. Comes with a standard felt drawstring bag for the dice.
