This high quality filter is absolutely worth the purchase! It keeps the espresso machine screen head much cleaner and reduces cleaning time. The quality is fantastic, size fits perfectly, but it doesn't come in a color besides black at t his size. Be careful not to throw it in the trash with your grounds (or garbage disposal)!

My recommended grind settings kept changing on each pull and I had read a recommendation to try a puck screen. This absolutely worked for me. My grind level has stayed the same and I am getting very flavorful and beautiful looking shots. The downside is that I am drinking way too many lattes now!!

I gave the Normcore 58.5mm Puck Screen a whirl, hoping it would bring my espresso game to the next level. It’s well-made, durable, and impressively thin at 0.8mm—perfect for adding that extra touch of finesse to extraction. And let me tell you, this little metal filter is like espresso magic in a disc form.In action, it worked great! My shots were more consistent, and cleanup was way easier with that added layer. But, as much as it upped my coffee game, it wasn’t quite the right fit for my setup. Whether it was the pressure balance or my particular machine’s quirks, I couldn’t get it to align with my usual espresso routine. So, it’s back to the basics for me.If your machine can handle a puck screen and you’re looking to level up your espresso shots, this is a fantastic little upgrade. For me, though, it was just a temporary guest in my coffee corner. It’ll be missed—by my espresso shots more than anything!

I purchased the 58.5mm puck screen for my Gaggia Pro E24, and it fits perfectly! I previously tried the 58mm size, but it left a small gap in the portafilter and didn’t work as well. With the 58.5mm puck screen, my puck quality has noticeably improved. It’s thinner than usual puck screens, so it doesn’t sacrifice the volume of coffee grind, which is a big plus. It provides a more even extraction, and I’m very happy with the results. Highly recommend for anyone using this machine!It’s slightly pricey than other one but it’s worth it.

I definitely prefer these thinner screens, the thicker ones will often not give me the proper headroom.I immediately noticed a more even extraction with this particular screen, and it's essential for keeping the shower head and group much cleaner than it would be otherwise.
