Showers in my walking cast/boot
Does great to cover my walking cast so I can go into the shower but I still do have to avoid my leg being submerged under the shower stream. A cast waterproof cover was too small to fit over my boot, but this dis the trick!

I ordered a large not really knowing the sizes. If your walking cast is a med, you need the med cover. This is great and I love the design, just a little big.

This has made everyday tasks so much easier. My boot has 8 Velcro straps that were ruining my clothes, my sheets, my sanity. This cover not only fixed that problem, it made getting dressed, sliding my leg around (on the couch, on the floor... cuz sometimes crutches seem like the devil), and practically everything else so much easier. It stayed in place, kept rain and snow off my boot, and kept my toes warm in Wisconsin’s cold winter. If your toes get too hot, just peel the front back a little bit.I would assume sand would be a problem with this. Sand is made up largely of fine rock and abrasive minerals. The cover might stand up to a day at the beach, but not long term wear.As another reviewer stated, the bold colors of this cast makes the cover noticeable. People give you a bit more room when they see you wobbling. Also, I’ve gotten many compliments and questions on where to buy it. Frankly, I find looking at this a lot less depressing than the actual cast. It is a mood booster.Use the Velcro tabs to keep the cover in place. This will prevent shifting and keep the bottom edges from slipping under the bottom of the boot. That can become a slip hazard and place unnecessary wear on the cover.As you can probably tell, I am a complete fan. Don’t hesitate. The reason this gets only 4 stars is that the zipper needs a little clasp to hold the top together. My zipper sometimes slides down.

Exactly what I needed!
This was a lifesaver on a recent, rainy vacation I took! Fit perfectly over my boot, and kept the rain out like a champ. I was originally wary of getting something with such a loud print- it's not really my style. But I actually found that it was rather useful to have my injured leg stand out. My black walking boot blends in so much that people didn't always realize I was wearing it. When you're injured, having someone walk carefully by you and open a door can really make a difference in your day.
