I deducted one star for the cost but out of all the protein drinks I've tried (in an effort to find a cheaper version) this is the best, so I'll stick with it. Why does there have to be a metal disk in the cap? They should be more eco-conscious.

I'm disabled and rely on nutrition shakes every day. As such, I've tried LOTS of them. This is hands down my favorite. It tastes like French vanilla ice cream melted into a bowl. My biggest frustration with Ensure is the packaging. It's all extremely similar which makes it easy to purchase one of the many varieties they have. They all taste slightly different, even when the flavor is vanilla. Some have higher calories, some have more protein, but the original still tastes best. A little color coding, for example, would really help. Almost every time someone else go shopping for me, they get the wrong type. Half the time it's because the stock people don't pay attention and put them all together. Honestly, that's why I have started buying the product in bulk at Amazon, but it's not always in stock.
