AYL Windproof Travel Umbrella 1lb- with Teflon Coating (Starry Night)

I bought this umbrella in the starry night print. It's super fun. The print is vibrant. The matching storage bag is nice - as other reviewers noted, the zipper is a nice added feature. I'm pretty particular folding umbrellas but even I am thankful for the extra room some days. The automatic open and close button is fast and easy to used. The umbrella as a whole feels incredibly sturdy and well built. My only disappointment is that I definitely wouldn't call the umbrella lightweight as the description states (it weighs in just over 1 lb) however, I did find this information noted as shipping weight in the Question section after purchasing. Thankfully did not purchase the umbrella for this reason!

Living in Southern California I rarely ever need an umbrella for rain. Being an extremely fair skinned person I very much need one for the harsh California sun. This umbrella is perfect.I walk daily and use this to keep from burning to a crisp. It is very easy to use, one button pops it open and snaps it shut so there is never a struggle. Just pop it shut, kaleidoscope the handle and Velcro the tie. The double material does wonders to keep the sun off of me and the beautiful stars are on my side of the umbrella so I can see them while out for a stroll.

This seems to be a decently made umbrella but it is NOT travel sized as advertised. It's almost a foot long compacted and relatively heavy to pack. I haven't used it in very windy weather so I can't say if it would hold up to higher winds. It does open into a wider canopy than a typical travel umbrella, so it has that going for it. It's also very pretty. Would have preferred something smaller, but this will do.

I didn't realize that the outer part of the umbrella was black. I wish it was the same as the starry night inside.

I love how cool this umbrella is. The design is perfect for distracting my little one that is normally freaking out about the rain. The umbrella works great, opens and closes with ease, and is quality-made. My one concern was that the bag it came in was really tight and the zipper broke the first time I used it. That said, I have never actually used an umbrella bag before in my life so I still say it deserves all five stars. If the bag is important to you, just be careful with it.

Looks cute. It matched my daughters galaxy backpack. It fits in her bookbag. However it will NOT hold up to the wind. We had a mild storm with 10mph winds and it buckled. She had to angle it to block the wind which blocked her view. Made it a waste since she couldn't see where she was walking.

Star print on the inside is gorgeous. Item seems sturdy. Used for a few storms, and no issues. Fairly easy to use. Button open & button "closed," but you do need a little force to lock the collapsed canopy down to the handle. I could see this being difficult for someone with arthritis or similar challenges. Again though, seems very sturdy!I bought this ahead of a rainy funeral for my NASA engineer grandpa. It arrived quickly and is totally beautiful without being too much. Perfect for me.

I was super excited to get this since we seem to always have umbrellas that get ruined by wind or clumsy children. I love that the galaxy design is on the carrying case as well as the underside of the umbrella. It opens quickly and easily, and it withstood some pretty heavy winds we had in my area recently. Didn't one threaten to turn inside out. It dried off quickly and went back pretty easily into the carrying bag. I am very impressed.
