Just purchased the Toaster and Kettle set. Once boiled if you lift the kettle by the handle leaking steam comes up from the lid and burns your fingers. If you have just boiled it and go to refill it when you remove the lid because of the position of the handle the steam from inside burns your fingers. Again, because of the position of the handle, drifting steam from the spout can burn your fingers when you are pouring it into the teapot. I would say this kettle - unless you left it a couple of minutes after boiling, is a safety hazard in terms of its design. Not everyone's cup of tea to leave the kettle for a few minutes after boiling before making the tea.
