This thing is really rather useful especially with the USB C OTG capability, and yes it does work OTG at least on my phone. If it does not work for you check you phone/tablet OTG capability before saying it does not work.Also the micro usb capability is really rather clever, however time will tell how long that part lasts.Only wrong point I can see is that is is NOT USB 3 as far as I can see and the speeds are only the same as my USB 2 adaptors. This is the reason for only the 4* overall rating.Overall though a very useful bit of kit

The main thing I don't like about this item is the USB c connector isn't working. I've used this item a couple of times now and now the third time my phone won't recognise it.The connector is very lose. I always kept the cover on it too.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I bought this to replace a broken drive, but unfortunately found the build quality on this product to be equally poor, as an SD Card reader it works as advertised, will read cards and can import via USB 3.0 which is great. Unfortunately if you need to remove the device from the USB slot, you'll end up taking leaving the USB jack and have the card reader in the slot, as pictured it's not very well put together.I would not recommend purchasing unless you plan to leave it permanently plugged into a USB port.

These little adapter are great. Not only do they turn a microSD card into a USB flash drive, making it super-easy to transfer data from cameras, etc. but htey also provide a safe place to keep a spare microSD card where you're not going to lose it. Cards don't 'click' into the adapter but they stay in perfectly securely.In fact I have a few of these. I always end up with spare microSD cards as I get higher capaity ones for various devices, so the spare ones get put in these adapters and used as flash drives. It turns out the aluminium casing is easy to write on with a pencil so they can be easily labeled that way.

What a handy little bugger. Easy to use and good build. I'm using USB 2.0 still and the speed putting music to my laptop was super fast. I've tried each setting and all work great. Easy recommendation

This USB reader for micro sd cards was just what I needed. Speedy delivery from seller, no complaints. When you insert the micro sd card it sits very tightly, so no worries that it might drop out. Reading and writing speeds are excellent (USB 2.0), and the stick itself feels sturdy, even though it is very slim - ideal for taking it with you wherever you go, even has a small hole for laniard. I have no problem in recommending this product AND the seller!

Is just a bit hard to put the card in.. you need to be really careful not to force it

Looked slightly different from picture. Unless it is the way the light has caught it. It is great.I wanted a 1gb micro sd card for my motorola v3x mobile which is SUPPOSED to only support up to 512mb micro sd card. But i find that a 1gb DOES work. But higher cards don't seem to work on the v3x phone. The card reader works great too. Great value and speedy delivery. Highly recommended item and seller.
