Savage Hearts: Queens and Monsters, Book 3

Absolutely LOVED it
There’s a reason why I’ve been one-clicking JT’s books without hesitation for years, and she just keeps getting better and better. I never know where the story will lead, but I’m always eager to hang on for the ride. This series has been blazing hot and immensely compelling, so this had a lot to live up to - and it exceeded all expectations. It might've even surpassed the other two books in the series. Going in, we knew absolutely nothing about either main character, and that made this an epically unpredictable adventure. I had zero idea what I was getting into, and that meant it was a fun, immersive read. This one plays up the dark humor, the banter, and the seriously smokin' chemistry. I laughed out loud as often as I fanned myself over the steam. I LOVED this couple together, and the first half just flew by for me. Things get heavier and tenser as the story progresses, and the intimacy escalates along the way. It's the perfect addition to a stellar series, approaching the mafia trope from a different direction. I loved every minute of it.The story follows Riley, a woman whose life is turned upside down when she discovers that her estranged sister is dating a mafia boss. While the sisters haven't been close for years, Riley agrees to take a trip and meet Sloane's new guy. She had no idea what she was getting into. It's not long before Riley realizes that she's in way over her head, and there's a Giant Hot Dangerous Stranger following her every move. The man is fierce and intimidating, obviously up to no good, and yet... strangely appealing. There's just something about him that calls to Riley, and he seems equally confounded by her. As the two continue their strange interactions, things take an unexpected turn. Now, I'm not gonna spoil the book for you. I think most of us expected Diego to be the next antihero, but let me say that I was NOT disappointed by Malek. He is soooo not what I was expecting, and I loved seeing the different sides of him. While this feels very much a part of the same series, this particular story has a completely different feel than the others. It's JT at her best, with some softer, subtler moments and an antihero who is obviously bad, but... not. These two are fantastic together, and I loved going in blind. I want to tell you all the things that I loved about Malek, but I also don't want to give the story away, so I'll tell you that he is a fascinating man and leave it at that. This book also makes the series as a whole richer and stronger; sure, it can technically be read as a standalone, but you don't want to do that. It also opens up some interesting paths for future books in this world, and I. AM. READY. Buckle up, because this is a sexual tension-filled, unpredictable read.

Very good book
Mal, Riley, and Spider have a great story and plot. They are funny but serious. The passion shows true characters. This book did not disappoint at anytime. If you like mob love stories you will enjoy this book and the whole series.

The Saga Continues….Estrogen Is Kryptonite For The Alpha Mafioso
I Love You Ms. Geissinger and your never ending creative writing skills!!! The storyline is well crafted from the very first page to the last. The characters are well developed and complex which only adds to the feeling of being fully invested in the book. And oh….. the Audible companion for this installment as well as the other two books is over the top amazing! Such talented narration.Malek and Riley’s story depicts the hardships, woes and joys of the human condition. It illustrates how an event in one’s life can alter an individual’s destiny. It highlights resilience and the complexity of sibling relationships. I love the complexity of Malek’s character… a tough ruthless mafioso ad well as a loving, caring soul. As with the last two installments, the sex is graphic and edgy. This story involves “breath play” which is a truly controversial sex act which can cause serious neurological issues. Not really a fan of reading about it.Many reviewers did not particularly like Riley but I found her to be an interesting character with many redeeming qualities. I loved Spider and felt compassion for his plight. Can’t wait to delve into book 4 to read his story. The epilogue set the stage for an interesting story to follow. This series is so entertaining and lead us to the awareness that things aren’t always what they appear to be on the surface. That is the stellar writing JT is known for.The enigmatic Killian Black makes a cameo appearance in this story. The scenario is SO GOOD!

Great book!
Some of this book had me chuckling out loud! Great spitfire Riley was a good character. Now of course in real life she would have been dead... I liked the book for s. The only thing I would change would be the exaggerated sex scenes.. sometimes too much detail is boring

not the same
I give this installment a shaky 2.5 stars. The banter between Riley and Mal was soooooo drawn out. I had to push through this book forcibly. It was not funny banter like Sloane and Declan…this was just kinda annoying. Mal was nice but I did not feel like his character was developed enough for the magnitude of his role. Riley was naive about a great deal. The length of time that took place in Russia was odd, three months went by and no one knew. The steamy scenes were blah…Mal didn’t give what I hoped he would give being that he was such a big bad assassin. The involvement with Kage was messed up. Kage is a huge jerk and I cannot believe how he had his hands in this triangle…totally petty dude! And then there is Spider…ohhh dear Spider. I feel bad for his situation, but I also kinda don’t. He had a crush but love is not always reciprocated and you cannot force it to happen. He dreamed it and wished it but reality is harsh and we don’t always get what we want. It sucks but you don’t go pulling guns on folks at a wedding reception when you don’t get the toy you’ve been wishing for dude. Anyway, I am glad I read this installment so I know what’s going on in the series, but I am really hoping the 4th book with Spider is better. This one was kinda disappointing.

4.5/5 ⭐️
It was a good book. I liked Riley and loved to see Sloane and Declan (my favorite couple and book so far) again, Nat and Kage too.I liked the way the romance was build in the middle of the woods and I adored Malek. In the beggining not so much but later...The only thing that made me a little sad was Spider in the middle of all this. I understand the goal but still. And the way he is now, angry and bitter. What makes me feel hope is that he will be the protagonist in the next book and I want to see him happy.Loving this series ✨️

Perfect 🔥🔥🔥
This is the third book of the Queens & Monsters series, I read the other two and absolutely loved them. This book takes the cake. Our main girl is a tiny, fierce, sarcastic, hilarious woman. Her quips and remarks had me laughing the entire book. Our main man is a hot as hell, alpha male, but he has a dark past that lead him to where he is and the growth of his character is truly amazing. Malik is my favourite of all the men in these books so far.The storyline is incredible, it never drags. It’s constantly either action, sexy scenes, all the feels or just down right hilarious. The sex scenes are on fire, scorching hot and so well written. The epilogue gives us a peek at the next book and I’m a mix of sad that I have to wait until next year and a mix of ridiculously excited to read this story. It’s perfect. So freaking perfect 😍

A good mafia romance
Malek is the best book boyfriend you ever get introduced to. Handsome, smart, efficient and totally loveable.Riely is feisty and love at first sight to all readers. They have a great chemistry, but I have a secret crush on Killian Black. His cameos steal the show everytime.JT Geissinger doesn't disappoint with another mafia romance.

Still lovin' the series!
Just finished Savage Hearts, book 3 of Queens and Monsters by JT Geissenger, a series I have had the pleasure of listening to on audio. Obviously, and don't forget I am not a lover of Mafiaesque romances, this is just pure relaxation reading, total escapism when out enjoying a long walk or just doing the chores. This author nails this genre for me and these stories are unashamedly OTT and beautifully narrated. Hance the slight addiction!!Ok, so yes, what with Riley and Sloane being sisters the feeling of deja vu was inevitable, and the plot is very similar to book 2, but I still loved it! Another alpha male is tamed in this smart, sexy and witty story, as another looms his head ready to take me into book 4. Can't wait!!

Savage Hearts
Well the author has done it again. Another masterpiece. So far I’ve fallen in love with every book out of this series. And although Sloane is my favorite female lead character, in this book she just wasn’t. Riley had some sort of character development I definitely loved, Mal too as the male character. Definitely a very sweet and wholesome book. In comparison to the second one, this one was not exactly in the comedic side, but more on the deep feelings and heartfelt conversations. Absolutely loved the spark that appeared between the main characters immediately. Such an awesome book, would 100% recommend.
