Hydro Flask20 Oz Insulated Food Jar Black

I absolutely love this food jar! I made some oatmeal to carry with me to work for my breakfast. This food jar was the perfect size for my serving of oatmeal. The lid was easy to open and close, and I did not experience any leaking of the contents. I had a project that I needed to tackle immediately upon arriving at work, so I ended up eating my oatmeal about an hour later. To my pleasant surprise, my oatmeal was still piping hot and delicious from the first bite to the last. The food jar functioned perfectly and is worth every penny. I highly recommend this container!

Great for traveling. Keeps food hot for forever! I’ll heat up my food extra doubting its ability and my food will be scorching hot still hours later. Highly recommend and works great for my daughter and I having allergies and not being able to eat out. Easy to clean as well.

Great choice for sending a hot lunch item to school for my kids. They enjoy bringing soups and pastas, and they have stated that their entrees are still warm at lunch time. I had to go through several other thermos containers before finding the right one that kept food hot and didn’t leak. The quality is good and these are durable. No lesks!

Great quality! Keeps food hot all day long. Fits an entire can of soup. Washed in the dishwasher on the top shelf without any issues

Anyone that rates this higher than a 1 has obviously never owned an insulated container before. This thing loses its temperature within 4 hours. So, for instance, if you had a piping-hot dish, then within 4 hours it would be almost ambient temperature. I thought at first that I must have received a defective one (for instance a broken vacuum seal), and so I exchanged it. The second hydroflask I received had exactly the same performance characteristics. All I can figure is that its not truly a vacuum seal, as the description says. Anyhow, you've been warned.

Fantastic. Great size and shape for food you want to keep warm and eat with a spoon or fork.

Seems well-made, but it’s not as effective as I’d like. Filled it with boiling water for about ten minutes, dumped the water and filled with boiling oatmeal. Three hours later it was lukewarm at best. I have plenty of others that perform in a similar manner, so I decided to return this one. I wonder if it would work better with soups or stews, or maybe cold dishes. Maybe I’ll try some different dishes in my smaller version.
